Exam Pattern

For ITI / Assistant (General) / Lab Assistant (Chemistry) Trainees:
- 1st Stage Written Test: It is divided into two Parts.
- Part – I will be knowledge Test of 70 MCQ in respective discipline as advertised.
- Part – II will be aptitude test of 50 MCQ on on General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude and Reasoning.
- Duration of test: 2 hours
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- Cut Off Marks: For General category candidates, the qualifying marks for Technical Knowledge Test and Aptitude Test are 40% and 30% respectively. There is a relaxation of 25% in qualifying marks of written test in both Technical Knowledge Test and Aptitude Test for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
- 2nd Stage Skill Test: On basis of Result in 1st Stage test shortlisted Candidates will be called for Skill test. However, the skill test will only be of qualifying nature.
For Diploma Trainees:

- Written Aptitude Test of 120 multiple choice questions covering General English, Quantitative aptitude & Reasoning.
- Duration of test: 2 hours.
- Marking Scheme: Each question carries 1 mark.

- 2nd Stage Written Test: Candidates shortlisted in 1st Stage test will appear in 2nd Stage.
