The Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL) has released the notification for the recruitment to the post of Administrative Officer. OICL Administrative Officer Recruitment 2017

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in all the stages of the selection process along with the number of the available vacancies. The total number of vacancies are 300 vacancies for the post of Administrative Officer. The list of the category-wise vacancies is given in the image below:

Total no. of Vacancies – 300

Age Limit – Between 21 years to 28 years

Educational Qualification – Candidates must possess the minimum qualification as listed in the table below from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government.

Selection Process – Final selection would be based on consolidated marks of main examination (objective test) & Interview. The final merit list shall be prepared in descending order of the consolidated marks secured by the candidates.

Application Fee  – The candidates beloging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) who have submitted online application successfully between 18.08.2017 to 19.09.2017 for the above recruitment and have paid applicable fee for Rs. 100/- (intimation charges) or Rs. 600/-, only are eligible to apply for Pre Recruitment Examination Training.

OICL Administrative Officer Recruitment 2017 – Application Process

Eligible candidates need to fill the application form for the OICL Administrative Officer Recruitment 2017 online examination. he online applications will be available on the official website of the company i.e. orientalinsurance.org.in as per the scheduled dates only. Candidates will be required to register themselves, fill the complete and correct information in the application, uploading of scanned images of photograph and signature, paying the application fee and lastly, take a print of the e-receipt for the future reference. In order to avoid the last minute rush, the candidates are advised to complete the application process before the last date as the candidates can face the network problems during the last days of application.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to apply for the concerned post will have to satisfy all the eligibility requirements specified by the company. The eligibility criteria for the candidates are as follows:

Age Limit – Candidates must have the minimum age of 21 years and maximum age of 30 years of age as on July 31, 2017, i.e. a candidate must not be born earlier than August 1, 1987, and not later than July 31, 1996.

OICL Administrative Officer Recruitment 2017 – Admit Card

After the successful application, the candidates will get their Admit Card few dayes before the day of examination. It will be uploaded on the official website i.e. orientalinsurance.org.in as per the scheduled dates only. The candidates can download the admit card/call letter by entering the required information. The admit card will contain examination details such as exam venue, date and time etc. Candidates will have to carry the admit card at the time of the examination as without it the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Exam Pattern

The recruitment process will consists of the three phases i.e. Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview.  The distribution of all the phases of the online examination is as given in the table below:

Phase 1 – Preliminary Examination

It will consist of the Objective-type questions for 100 marks. The examination will be of 1 hour containing three following sections:

Descriptive Test

The test will be of 30 Minutes containing 30 Marks of English Language (Letter Writing – 10 marks and Essay – 20 Marks. It will be held in English and in online mode only.

Phase 3 – Interview

It will be conducted by the company up to three times of the number of vacancies of respective stream/category. The interview will be held at selected centres. The candidates who will be qualified for the interview will have to carry the list of the following documents:

The result will be declared for the candidates appeared in the examination. The result will be upload on the official website of OICL. It will consist of the scores obtained by the candidates in all the phases of the online examination. The stream-wise merit lists will be prepared in the descending order of the consolidating scores obtained by the candidates in the online examination. The candidate’s recruitment to the concerned post will be based on the merit obtained by them in the online examination along with the available vacancies and the fulfilment of the eligibility and other requirements of the company.
