OPSC MO (AS) Recruitment 2017 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have occupied M.B.B.S. or equivalent Degree from Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India. The candidate must have a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical “Registration Rules 1965”; and Possessed required conversion certificates recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of the candidate having Degrees from University of Foreign Countries.

Age Limit – A candidate must have attained the age of 21 (twenty-one) years and must not be above the age of 32 (thirty-two years on the 1st day of January 2017 i.e he/she must have born not earlier than 2nd January 1985 and not later than 1st January 1996. Age relaxation shall be as per Govt. Rules prescribed for the purpose.

OPSC MO (AS) Recruitment 2017 – Scheme of Examination

Subject for written examination for recruitment to the post of Medical Officer (Assistant Surgeon).

The written examination shall be of one paper carrying 200 marks with duration of three hours. Total No. of questions in written test is 200 which shall be of multiple choice (MCQ) pattern. No negative mark for wrong answers.

OPSC MO (AS) Recruitment 2017 Selection Process

The selection of candidates for OPSC Medical Officer (AO) Recruitment 2017 to the posts of Medical Officer(Assistant Surgeon) will be made on the basis of written test and career marks. The career marking will be for 30% (10% each for class 10th class, 12th, and M.B.B.S.) and 70% for written Test.
