OPSC PGT Document Verification Round 2020
Candidates who are able to secure the qualifying marks required re invited to appear for the OPSC PGT interview round. As mentioned above, this round of selection procedure is conducted for 50 marks. Candidates are shortlisted based on their marks in the written exam and are called for an interview where they have to carry certain documents for the verification. OPSC PGT 2020 – Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates for the post of OPSC Post Graduate Teacher is done through two stages which are as follows:
- Written examination – 200 marks
- Interview Round (Viva Voce or Personality Test) – 50 marks
Candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in the written examination, as may be fixed by the commission are called to appear at the viva-voce test. Candidates are shortlisted by Odisha Public Service Commission based on the merit. The commission shall conduct an interview of 50 marks. The final order of merit is determined on the basis of aggregate marks secured by the candidate in written examination and viva-voce test.
Odisha Public Service Commission or OPSC was set up on April 01, 1949. The OPSC is a state agency of Odisha which was set up to conducts the civil service examination for an entry-level appointment and other recruitment examination such as Odisha Civil Service Examination, Education Services, Judicial Service Examination, Asst. Section Officer, Junior Lecturers in O.E.S, Junior Assistant in the Office of OPSC. The commission is consulted by Odisha Government on matters related to the recruitment, transfers, promotions of the employees.
