Selection Process of OSSC JE Recruitment 2020
Eligible candidates are shortlisted through a three-stage selection process. The three stages are identified as Main Written Exam, Career Evaluation, and Certificate Verification. Read on to know more about the three selection stages before OSSC JE Result 2020 here.
Main Written Exam
The main written exam is conducted at place and time as scheduled by the Commission and intimated through the admit cards. All candidates are required to take the test which carries 100 marks and consists of an objective type question paper. Candidates are required to take the test in a duration of 1.5 hours. Career Evaluation
Candidates are evaluated on the basis of the marks obtained in the HSC and Diploma qualifying examinations. The marks of HSC carries 20% weightage while the marks of Diploma carry 30% weightage. This stage is therefore conducted as per the marks filled up by the candidates in the online application form and the self-attested documents uploaded. Therefore, candidates are advised to be very careful while filling up the application form online.
Certificate Verification
All candidates who qualify through the first two stages are shortlisted in a common merit list for the document verification stage. In this stage, shortlisted candidates are required to produce their original documents against which, the eligibility of the candidate is verified. Two times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for document verification. The Commission releases the result at the official website after approval of the final merit list from relevant government authorities.
