Eligibility Conditions for OSSC JE Recruitment 2020
Odisha Staff Selection Commission has clarified the minimum eligibility conditions to apply for the OSSC JE recruitment 2020. Age Limit
Candidates must not be below 21 years and above 32 year as on 1.1.2019
Education Qualification
Candidates must hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering recognized by the Odisha State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training.
Other Conditions of Eligibility
- Candidates must have studied Odia as one of the subjects in Class 12
- Candidates must be an Indian citizen
- Must possess a good moral character
- Must not have more than one spouse living

Eligible and willing candidates can apply online at the Commission’s official website i.e. ossc.gov.in as per scheduled indicated by OSSC. Instruction To Apply Online For OSSC JE Recruitment 2020
- The Application form can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Online Application Form’ link at the OSSC website.
- Navigate to the Junior Engineer (Civil) recruitment link and click on the link “For Registration”
- Register by providing the necessary details including mobile number and email id.
- Upon successful registration, an unique Application Sequence Number is generated which is also the User ID for the applicant
- Candidates also receive the password and user id on the registered mobile number and email id
- Now, click on “Go to application form” to enter the necessary details and fill up the application form.
- At the last stage of the application form, upload the specified documents including scanned photograph and signature
- Deposit the payment and click on “Submit” button to complete the application process

Document To Upload On Application Form
Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the latest recent passport-sized photograph and scanned signature on the online application form. In addition, self-attested copies of the following documents must also be uploaded with the online application form.

Admit Card for OSSC JE Recruitment 2020
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission releases the admission certificates or admit cards one week before the exam. It consists of information about the place and time of the exam. No individual call letter will be sent to the candidate by post for appearing in written test(s). Candidates have to download the same from the official website using their User ID & Password. The Commission issues the admit card at the website prior to the exam/selection test. It is mandatory to download the admit card and print it. This print out must be produced at the exam center on the day of the exam/selection test. Candidates without the valid admit card may not be allowed to appear in the exam. It is advised to carry a valid photo identity card along with the admit card for the verification of identity. Result OSSC JE Recruitment 2020
The final result of the OSSC JE Recruitment 2020 is prepared after the completion of the final document verification stage. Candidates are summoned for the document verification through a common merit list. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Main written exam and the Career Evaluation stage. Candidates who do not appear in the document verification are liable to get their names struck off the common merit list. Selection Process of OSSC JE Recruitment 2020
The common merit list is prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in written examination and career evaluation. Candidates two times the vacancy from each category in order of merit is shortlisted for document verification. After that, the Commission prepares a list of selected candidates arranged in order of merit equal to the number of the advertised vacancies on the basis of the marks secured in career evaluation and the written test taken together and qualification in the document verification stage. The three main stages of the selection process can be checked below.
Stage I (Main written exam): The main written exam consist of an objective type question paper carrying 100 marks in total. Candidates must qualify through this exam to get shortlisted in the common merit list
Stage II (Career Evaluation): Candidates are evaluated on the basis of the marks obtained in the HSC and Diploma exams. The marks of HSC carry 20% weightage while the marks of Diploma carry 30% weightage.
Stage III (Certificate Verification): Candidates, twice the number of vacancies are shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in Stage I & II for this stage. All original documents must be produced at this stage following which, the final results are published.
