RRB Ministerial Exam Pattern 2020
The RRB Ministerial Selection Process involves three stages. Check complete details about the three stages by referring to the information below.
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Skill Test or Translation Test
- Document Verification (DV)
RRB Ministerial CBT
- Duration of the CBT: It will be of 90 minutes. PwD category candidates will get 120 minutes for the exam.
- Number of Questions: There will be a total of 100 multiple choice based questions in which four alternatives will be given in each question.
- Marking Scheme: Each question will be of 1 marks. ⅓ marks are going to be deducted from the total score or every incorrect answer.

RRB Ministerial Skill Test / Translation Test
Candidates applying for the post of Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, Physical Training Instructor, Assistant Mistress / Junior School are going to undergo this round. To be eligible for the skill test or translation test, candidates need to obtain the cut off marks in the CBT.
Duration of the test: The skill test will be of 15-30 Minutes.
Maximum Marks: It is going to be of a total of 100 marks
For the PGT and TGT Arts Masters post, candidates need to possess skills like relative approach, Aesthetic sensibilities, Observation skill, interpretation and Originality, Correlation with real life, Experimentation with different art Modes and mediums, Proportion in size and clarity and importance of color, balance, and brightness. The weight-age given to this round is 25%.
Those applying for the post of Primary Teacher (Music), Primary Teacher (Dance) and Art Master (PGT / TGT) are assessed on the skills like various instrumental music, performance of dance, Presentation Skill, Coordination, Expression, Energy level, Rhythm, Experimentation with art forms, imagination and innovation and Artistic temperament.
Candidates’ Teaching Ability, Teaching Methodology, Content Expertise, Appropriateness of material, Incorporation of the recent development in the discipline, Communication skill, Presentation Skill, Classroom Management Skill, understanding of Subject Matter, Problem Solving ability, Decision making, Creativity, Leadership & Motivation Quality is assessed in this round.
Duration of the exam: The skill test is going to be of 15-30 Minutes.
Marks: The translation test will be of 150 marks.
Note: The skill test is given a weight-age of 15%.
RRB Ministerial Document Verification
Candidates who clear the CBT and skill test are eligible to undergo the document verification. The students need to carry the original as well as two sets of self-attested photocopies of the documents. The documents can only be presented in either Hindi or English. In case the document is in some other language then, one has to produce the self-attested translated version of the same.
The number of candidates called for the DV round is equal to the number of vacancies. 50% more candidates for the standby list. Here is the list of the documents which students need to carry for the round of document verification.

RRB Ministerial Admit Card 2020
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) releases the RRB Ministerial Admit Card 2020 in online mode at the zonal websites for which the candidates need to enter registration number and date of birth. The RRB Ministerial Admit Card 2020 comprises of important details related to the exam like the address of the exam centre, exam date, timings of the exam, reporting time, etc. So, candidates should keep it in with themselves till the time recruitment process gets over.
On the day of the examination, candidates need to carry the admit card in a printed format along with an identity proof and passport size photograph. The photograph should be the same as uploaded at the time of filling of the application form.
