RRB Ministerial Syllabus 2020 – The selection of the candidates for the posts under RRB Ministerial 2020 is done on the basis of three stages CBT, Skill Test / Performance Test followed by document verification. The syllabus for RRB Ministerial 2020 is different for each post. For CBT and skill tests, the qualifying criteria also vary. The process of selection for RRB Ministerial is different for each post. RRB Ministerial Cutoff 2020 for CBT

To be eligible for the next round which is a skill test or performance test, candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the CBT exam. Students can check the table below to know the category wise cut off marks.

RRB Ministerial Skill Test / Translation Test 2020 (2nd Stage)

As such RRB has not specified any syllabus for the skill Test or Translation Test but we are providing a complete overview of the skills which candidates need to have for the second round. Only those candidates are shortlisted for the skill test or performance test who have cleared the CBT round successfully. This round is only for some specific posts.

Candidates who have applied for the post of Stenographer will have to undergo Shorthand Test (Stenography Skill Test) are required to have a certain typing speed to clear this round. In this round, candidates are not allowed to use any kind of editing tools and spell check.

Those willing to apply for the post of Junior Translator (Hindi) are going to undergo Translation Test in which questions are based on aptitude. The weightage of each section can be checked by referring to the table below.

For the post of Post Graduate Teachers, Trained Graduate Teachers, Physical Training Instructor, Assistant Mistress / Junior School, candidates have to appear for Performance test / Teaching Skill test.

In PGT and TGT Arts Masters, aspirants are required to have skills like relative approach, Aesthetic sensibilities, Observation skill, interpretation and Originality, Correlation with real life, Experimentation with different art Modes and mediums, Proportion in size and clarity and importance of colour, balance and brightness. This round will be of 100 marks.

For Primary Teacher (Music), Primary Teacher (Dance) and Art Master (PGT/TGT) posts. Candidates should have skills such as various instrumental music, performance of dance, Presentation Skill, Coordination, Expression, Energy level, Rhythm, Experimentation with art forms, imagination and innovation and Artistic temperament.

Candidates who are applying for the Teaching skill test will be tested on teaching Ability, Teaching Methodology, Content Expertise, Appropriateness of material, Incorporation of recent development in the discipline, Communication skill, Presentation Skill, Classroom Management Skill, understanding of Subject Matter, Problem Solving ability, Decision making, Creativity, Leadership & Motivation Quality.

How to Prepare for RRB Ministerial 2020 for CBT Exam

Candidates willing to take part in the recruitment process should now start preparing as the complete exam details of RRB Ministerial is out. The first thing which candidates should do is go through the syllabus carefully.

By going through the syllabus we get to know that there are 100 questions in the exam and the questions are going to be pertaining to Professional Ability, General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and Mathematics.

  • General Awareness – To make this section it is important for the candidates to read the newspaper daily and prepare notes as well. So, you can revise it on a daily basis. General Awareness is a very vast subject and students cannot prepare for it one day. Candidates should make a habit to devote daily sometime to current affairs and general knowledge as then only he / she can score well in this section.
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning – Candidates have to solve logical and aptitude questions in this section. Solve more and more questions related to number series, puzzles, analogies, syllogism, statement-arguments, blood relation, coding-decoding. By this, you will be able to solve question seconds. This section is very scoring if your concepts are clear.
  • General Science – As RRB has laid that from this section the questions are asked from the class 10 CBSE books. So, study the NCERT of Class 9th, 10th and you are good to go. Make sure that you go through the important topics, facts and practice sample paper, and mock tests.
  • Mathematics – The one and only thumb rule for the quantitative section is to know the concept and practice lots of questions. Students should practice the previous year question paper to have an idea about the questions asked in the CBT exam.
