DRDO CEPTAM-09/A&A Notice regarding Tier-2 Exam
Candidates who are provisionally shortlisted for the DRDO CEPTAM-09/A&A Exam-Tier-2 (Trade/Skill/Physical Fitness & Capability Test must note that the tentative date for the tier 2 exam will be informed in due course of time.
CEPTAM-09 Admit Card
E-admit card is available for CEPTAM-09/TECH-A post on DRDO website. The DRDO CEPTAM 9 Admit Card for the examination will not be sent by CEPTAM via post. The candidate have to download the admit card from the DRDO website. Candidates are required to bring a hard copy of admit card and preferably same photo Id (original as mentioned in the application form) at the examination center.

For post of CEPTAM-09/Admin & Allied (A&A):
Following exam pattern is for Admin & Allied (A&A) post under DRDO CEPTAM-09 recruitment 2020. Criteria for Physical Fitness & Capability Test-

Medical Standards- Vision
- 1. Distant 6×6 without aids.
- 2. Near vision normal but with corrections for person above 40 years of age.
- 3. Each eye must have full field of vision.
- 4. No light and colour blindness.
Physical Endurance Test-
For Male Candidates-
- Running a distance of 1600 meter in 07 minutes time.
- Carrying a weight of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 sec (Only for Fireman post).
- 03 mtr vertical rope climbing (03 mtr foot above ground).
- 20 sit ups.
- Clearing 2.7 metres wide ditch & landing on both feet (long jump) (to achieve in any one of the 03 chances given).
For Female Candidates-
- Running a distance of 800 meter in 05 minutes time.
- Carrying a weight of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 sec (Only for Fireman post).
- 2.5 mtr vertical rope climbing (2.5 mtr foot above ground).
- 15 sit ups Or Long jump of 2.0 mts (to achieve in any one of the 03 chances given).
Note: Here candidates must note that there shall be a 10% relaxation in the given performance standards for the candidates with age more than 40 years.

Examination Cities for TIER-II: No choice for the city is required to be given by the candidates for Tier-II (Trade test). Cities for the Trade Test will be decided by CEPTAM based on the operational requirement.
CEPTAM-09 Result
DRDO has declared the CEPTAM-09 result after the successful completion of both Tier-I and Tier-II. DRDO has published the scores/rankings of the candidates appearing in the Tier-II (Trade Test) examination on the website in descending order of ranking. The result of the CEPTAM-09 (TECH-A & Admin & Allied) consists of the details of the candidates that will be disclosed as per the choice of candidate.
CEPTAM-09 Eligibility Criteria
All eligibility conditions will be determined with reference to the crucial date of eligibility as mentioned in the advertisement.
For post CEPTAM-09/Admin & Allied:
Education Qualification- It is mandatory to hold a minimum educational qualification in order to become an eligible candidate for Admin & Allied posts of DRDO CEPTAM-09 2020 recruitment. For all 11 posts under Admin & Allied (A&A) is mandatory to qualify the following:
Essential Qualification Requirement (EQR)-
- For posts with codes 0301 to 0601- It is compulsory to qualify 10+2/12th or its equivalent from any recognised board or university.
- For remaining posts it is required to qualify 10th standard/Class 10 which should be recognised by state/central government.
Other Essential Requirement (OER)-
- For posts with codes 0301 to 0502 & 0701, it is mandatory to have computer knowledge & maintain a good typing speed as per norms.
- For posts with codes 0601 & 1101, it is mandatory to maintain a good fitness level & one should able to undertake duties accordingly.
- For post with code 0801, it is mandatory to have two years of experience in cooking field in a Government/SemiGovernment/Autonomous Organisation.
- And for the remaining two posts 0901 & 1001, it is compulsory to have a valid driving licence, knowledge of motor mechanism & experience of driving for at least three years.
For post CEPTAM-09/TECH-A:
Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Age Limit: Candidate must be between 18 and 28 Years of age (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/ESM/PWD/Widows/Divorced Women/Women Judicially Separated from their Husbands who are not remarried etc as per Govt. of India Rules).
Educations Requirements:
- Xth Class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institute.
- Certificate from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Certificate of minimum one-year duration from a recognized Institute if the Industrial Training Institutes do not award certificate or National Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship in the required discipline.
Candidates must have acquired the EQR as on crucial date of eligibility for the post they are applying. Those awaiting results of the final examination as on crucial date of eligibility for the prescribed qualification are not eligible and hence should not apply.
Please note that candidates possessing the higher qualification, viz., M.Sc. or B.Tech. or Ph.D. degree etc. as on crucial date of eligibility, shall not be considered for the recruitment.
The educational requirements should be from recognized institutions and approved by suitable bodies like NCVT/SCVT/UGC/AICTE/State/Central Education Board or similar appropriate statutory authority.
Medical Fitness: Candidate must be in good mental and physical health and free from any physical deformity which may interfere in the efficient discharge of duties.
No Objection certificate: Candidate serving in Govt., PSU, Autonomous organization, Armed Forces and Departmental candidates must apply through proper channel. Candidate should obtain NOC from the present employer at an appropriate time.
CEPTAM-09 Application Form
The application process for CEPTAM-09 is ongoing for the eligible candidates. Candidates should read all the instructions carefully before making any entry or selecting options. The instructions for filling up of online application are available on the official website. Candidates are required to make online payment of application fee of Rs.100/-(wherever applicable). After final submission of the application form, request for change/correction in the particulars will not be entertained in any circumstances. No printed copy of the application is required to be sent to CEPTAM.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of Tier-I (CBT) and Tier-II (Trade Test). The score of Tier-I (CBT) may be normalized as per requirement. The Tier-I examination is for provisional selection and Tier-II (Trade test) is qualifying in nature. Candidates will be called for Tier-I examination without any detailed scrutiny, therefore, their admission in examinations are only provisional. Candidates are advised to ensure meeting all eligibility criteria to avoid rejection in the future.
Resolution of Tie cases for Tier-I (CBT): In cases where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregate marks in Tier-I examination, tie cases will be resolved by applying following criteria, one after other, as applicable till the tie is resolved:
- Date of birth, older candidate placed higher in the merit list.
- Alphabetical order (English Order) in which the names of the candidates appear.
Preliminary Document Verification: The original certificates pertaining to EQR and other relevant documents will be examined at the time of document verification. Preliminary document verification will be held along with Tier-II (Trade Test). Provisionally shortlisted candidates for Tier-II (Trade test) need to produce all the relevant certificates in original at the time of preliminary document verification, failing which the candidature of such candidates will be canceled.
Candidates may be asked at any stage of the recruitment process to produce original documents/certificates for the verification of its authenticity by the forensic expert/issuing authority.
Note: Here one must note that for Admin & Allied post’s Tier-II Exam, it also includes Skill/Physical Fitness & Capability Test (whichever is applicable).

Pay Scale: Appointed candidates will get salary on monthly basis as per Pay scale of level 2 (Rs 19900-63200) for all post codes except Stenographer Grade-II i.e. Pay at level 4 (Rs 25500-81100) as per 7th CPC Pay matrix and other benefits as per Govt. of India rules & regulations.
Age Limit: All the aspirants of DRDO CEPTAM-09 A&A recruitment must be in between 18 to 27 years of age, which is relax-able for SC/ST/OBC/ESM/PWD/WIidows/Divorced Women/Women Judicially separated from their husbands & who are not remarried etc. as per Govt. of India rules & norms.
