RRC invites online applications from eligible and desirous candidates for engagement of apprentices under Apprentices Act 1961 for imparting training at various Divisions / Units / Workshops over Northern Railway.

Candidates are requested to note that the imparting of training by Railways does not confer right to anyone for induction. Railway is not obliged to offer employment on completion of the period of apprenticeship training. The candidate is also not obliged to accept employment.

Educational Qualification
Candidate should have passed class 10 exam with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Also, he/she should have passed ITI in relevant trade.
Age Limit
The age limit for RRC Delhi Apprentices Recruitment 2018 is applicable as on 27th January 2018. On this date, the candidate should be at least 15 years old. Also, he/she should not have completed 24 years of age.
Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms.
RRC NR Apprentices Recruitment 2018: Application Form
In order to apply, an application fee of Rs 100 has to be paid. However, the fee is exempted for SC, ST, PH, Women candidates. Mode of fee payment for Indian Railways recruitment application form is online. Application form for RRC NR Apprentices engagement was available from December 28, 2017, 11 AM. From above date onwards to January 27, 2018, 5 PM, one could apply at RRC NR Delhi website www.rrcnr.org.
RRC NR Apprentices Recruitment 2018: Result
Candidates who appeared for the process now can check the status in the form of Provisionally Shortlisted for Document Verification or Not Shortlisted for Document Verification or Candidature Rejected for not following the terms & condition of the notification or Candidature Rejected for being registered only and not paid the Application Fee. Status of every candidate is strictly based upon the strength of information submitted online by the candidates & no change in the same is allowed at this stage.

- Cut-Off Marks:
Candidate equal to 1.5 times the number of slot notified Cluster-wise, Unit wise & Category wise, as per the cut off given below, has been Provisionally Shortlisted for Document Verification on the basis of percentage marks in 10th+ITI. The candidate under UR category includes all candidates irrespective of the category if he/she fulfils the eligibility of UR and in merit. As PWD and Ex-SM slots are inclusive of 3162 slots, hence PWD & ExSM candidate for reserved slots are additional in number and such candidates, if found fit in DV, will be adjusted as per the category among the total number of slots.
The candidature of all shortlisted candidate for Document Verification is provisional at all stages. The mere inclusion of name in the list does not entitle the candidate for engagement or Imparting Training in Railway will not confer any right to the candidates for their absorption/employment in railway after successful completion of Training.
Candidate can submit ONLINE objections/ grievance, if any, through RRC website on the status by 4th April 2018 upto 1500 hrs. RRC reserve the rights to change the Provisional Cut off marks list & list of shortlisted candidates in case of any unforeseen circumstances or inadvertent error, if any, noticed at any stage.

Selection Process
Railways shall select Apprentices on basis of merit. Merit shall be prepared by taking average of percentage marks obtained in both matriculation (class 10) and ITI, giving equal weightage to both.
Physical fitness
An Indian Railways recruitment doctor will determine whether one is eligible physically or not. Physical fitness norms as per Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time are applicable.
