SSC CGL Result 2022
SSC CGL result releases in merit list format. After each stage, SSC releases a separate merit list. SSC CGL merit list has names of those candidates who secure the minimum cut-off marks to qualify the stage. It may be noted that SSC CGL 2022 refers to the event of SSC CGL 2021 which is being held in the year 2022. The terms SSC CGL 2021 and SSC CGL 2022 are therefore used interchangeably on this page.

How to Check SSC CGL Result 2022 at ssc.nic.in?
SSC declares the result for Combined Graduate Level through the online process. Candidates can get their scores for the examination by referring to the steps below:
1st step: Go to the official website of SSC to check result, ssc.nic.in. Also, we have given the direct link to check result above.
2nd step: Click on the ‘result’ tab present as shown in the image.

3rd step: Select the examination to ‘CGL’. Search for ‘Uploading of marks of Combined Graduate Level 2022’.
4th step: Click on the link against this section.
5th step: After clicking on the link, a PDF opens. In this PDF, candidates get a link to check their scores of the exam.
6th step: Hereafter, enter the registration number/roll number and password.
7th step: Click on ‘submit’ button.
8th step: After this, SSC CGL scorecard displays on the screen. Hit the download button and keep the scorecard for future reference.

Compilation of SSC CGL Result 2022
SSC CGL result is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in each stage of the selection process. Refer to the procedure below to know about the compilation of SSC CGL result.
- Initially, SSC releases the provisional answer key for CGL online.
- Then, window to challenge the answer key opens. Candidates can avail this facility by visiting the official website.
- After this process, SSC releases a final answer key.
- With the help of the final answer key, candidates number of correct and incorrect answers are calculated.
- Marks for correct answer is awarded. Also, for marking incorrect answer, marks are deducted.
- The normalization of marks is done. The final marks are calculated after the normalization process.
- If a candidate is able to secure the cur off marks then his/her name if present in the merit list.
SSC CGL 2022 Tie-Breaking Criteria
There are instances that more than a candidate secure equal marks in the examination. The commission has set a procedure for the resolution of ties. To know about the tie-breaking criteria, refer to the information below.
- Total marks secured in relevant papers in Tier II
- Total marks secured in tier III examination.
- If the tie still exists, the candidate’s date of birth is compared. The one who is older is given preference.
- Lastly, if the tie still persists, candidates are arranged in alphabetical order.
