Read Newspaper Daily: The exam consists of current affairs as well as the language section. Reading English newspaper can help with the reading habits and in addition to that, it helps stay updated on the day to day scenario of the country and of the world.

Prepare more for English Language: The candidates get hassled by SSC CPO Syllabus of Mathematics. But, they do not see the weightage of English subject. Maths has 50 marks and huge syllabus while English has 250 marks and such less syllabus. It is advised to focus more on the syllabus of the English as compared to Maths.

Refer to NCERT: For mathematics, refer to the NCERT books of 9th and 10th class. Candidates must first clear their basics and then focus on any other books for solving previous year papers.

Practice Questions: In maths and reasoning, candidates must practice questions as much as they can. Clear doubts and basics first and then solve the previous year papers.

Focus on Physical Test Standards: The physical tests is the real challenge for the candidates. Even the candidates who come well prepared get disqualified in this stage. The candidates must practice for the physical test on a daily basis. Aspirants can not clear the physical tests by preparing in just a week or two if they have not prepared for it earlier.

Manage Time: Preparing for the computer-based test as well as for the physical tests can only be done by managing time. Prepare a proper schedule and follow it. Be regular with studies and practice for the physical tests daily.

Speed and Accuracy: Candidates need 2 hours to solve 200 questions which means they get exactly 36 seconds for every question. Aspirants can not waste their time on solving just one question. And because there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks; mark the answers only if sure about it.

Self Assessment is Important: Candidates need to asses where they stand in preparing for the exam. For that, aspirants can attend some mock test series and get an idea of preparation level and the difficulty level of the exam.

Revise to Remember: Aspirants need to revise the topics previously studies. Make notes while studying and then use the same notes for revising in crucial last moments.

Set Weekly Goals: While preparing, aspirants need to set weekly goals for completing SSC CPO Syllabus syllabus.
