Staff Selection Commission publishes SSC JHT Result one by one for Paper I, Paper II, and Final. The result of SSC JHT 2018 Paper I indicates the list of candidates who have obtained marks equal to or more than Paper I cut off. They could download admit card of SSC JHT 2018 Paper II to appear in it. The result of SSC JHT 2018 Paper II shows details of those candidates who are called for document verification. They must present correct documents during document verification. The final result presents the list of candidates recommended for appointment.

How To Check SSC JHT Result 2018?

The result will not be sent to the candidate’s address. The only medium to check it will be by following the steps below.

  • Access the link or the window provided on this page.
  • The result page will be displayed in PDF format
  • Check your Roll Number, Name of the candidate, CAT 01, CAT 02, CAT 03, Castel, Post, Dept, Rank

The result will contain the Barcode, Roll Number, CAT 1, CAT 2, CAT 3. Candidates will not receive any scorecard.

SSC JHT 2018 Marks

The SC JHT Result 2018 will only contain the details of the candidates, the marks secured by the candidates will not be announced via it. However, the Commission will disclose the marks secured by the candidates. It will also be announced via a PDF and will be released few days after the announcement of the result.

The SSC JHT Paper 1 marks have already been released. Candidates may check it from below. However, for the Paper 2 will be announced through the merit list.

After the Paper 2, the final merit list of SSC JHT 2018 will be released. The recruitment will be done on the basis of the merit list only. The will contain the following details:

Tie Breaker Criteria

In case of two or more candidates score equal aggregate marks, the tie will be resolved by the following ways:

  1.  Marks in first part of the examination
  2. Date of birth; candidates older in age will be given preference
  3. Alphabetical order in which first names of the candidates appeared

Document Verification

The exam conducting body will publish a list of candidates who will be called for the document verification round. The candidates who will qualify the Paper 2 have to appear for the document verification on the stipulated date and time at the prescribed venue. Only after the candidates produce the required documents, they will be appointed during the probation period. The list of candidates that will be called for document verification will consist of the following:

  1.  Roll Number
  2. Category
  3. Name

Probation period after the selection

  • Candidates, who are appointed on the basis of the performance in the written examination, shall be put on a probation period of 2 years.
  • During the probation period, the candidates would be required to undergo functional training or pass such examinations as prescribed by the Controlling Authority.
  • Only after the successful completion of the probation period, the candidates will be considered for appointment and their joining will be confirmed by the Controlling Authority.

SSC JHT Paper 2 Result 2017

Staff Selection Commission has officially published SSC JHT Paper 2 Result 2017. As per write up, result is provisional. The cut off stands at 135 (UR), 108 (SC), 65 (ST), 119 (OBC), 64 (OH), 64 (HH), 64 (VH).

The Paper 2 was conducted for the Paper 1 qualifiers. In all, 1296 candidates qualified in the exam. Out of these, 317 candidates from UR, 245 from SC, 131 from ST, 516 from OBC, and 58, 12, 17 from OH, HH, and VH category, respectively, qualified for SSC JHT document verification.

SSC JHT Paper 2 Cutoff 2017

The Commission will release cut off along with the result. The cut off of Paper 2 is as follows.

The exam was of total 200 marks and in it, the candidates were to attempt passages for Hindi and English translation. Candidates were also be required to write an essay, in both the languages.

SSC JHT Paper 1 Result 2017

The Paper 1 of SSC JHT Recruitment 2017 was held on June 15, and before the official date of announcement, the result has been published on July 10, 2017, instead of July 14. A total of 29287 candidates appeared for the examination. However, only 10353 appeared for the exam, i.e. only 35.35% of the total candidates gave the exam.

After applying the cut off fixed by the Commission in Paper-I, 2042 candidates have qualified in the said examination for appearing in Paper-II. The category-wise details of the candidates available and cut off marks are as under.
