How to Check SSC JHT Result 2020-2021?
The result for SSC JHT examination is not sent to the candidates via post or by any other medium. Candidates can check their result by online mode only by simply following the instructions as given below.
1st step: Visit the official website of SSC, ssc.nic.in. Click on the direct link which is going to be provided on this page to check the SSC JHT 2020-2021 Result.
2nd step: Tap on the ‘result’ tab present on the right side of the homescreen.
3rd step: Select the “JHT” tab to get the result.
4th step: Next, the result is displayed in the pdf format.
5th step: Press Ctrl+F and enter the name or roll number and then check the result.

SSC JHT 2020-2021 Selection Process
The selection process for SSC JHT Recruitment 2020-2021 includes three stages – Paper 1, Paper 2, and Preference of Posts/ Departments at the time of Document Verification
- Firstly, the registered applicants have to appear for Paper-1 which is a computer-based test and consist of MCQ type questions. To qualify the first stage of the selection process, the candidates need to obtain minimum cut off marks as decided by the Commission.
- On the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Paper-1, candidates are shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II.
- Based on their performance in Paper-1 + Paper-2, the candidates are further shortlisted for Document Verification (DV).
- In the DV round, the candidates need to report at the selected centres for verification of documents in proof of their eligibility criteria, age limit, educational qualification, etc. and selecting the preference of Posts/ Departments.
- Once the candidate has been allotted their preference, as per their merit, they shall not be considered for any other option.
SSC JHT 2020-2021 Tie Breaker Criteria
In the case of two or more candidates obtain an equal score, their tie is resolved by applying the following rules. These points will be applied one after the another:
- First, the marks obtained in Paper 2 are taken into notice.
- Then, the marks are checked in Part 1 of Paper 1 which is General Hindi.
- If the tie is not resolved even after this, date of birth of the older candidates is considered.
- If the tie is not solved with the above criteria then, the name is sorted as per the alphabetical order.
SSC JHT 2020 Document Verification
Based on the performance of Paper 1 and Paper 2, candidates are called for the Document Verification Round. However, the final selection totally depends on the performance of the candidates in both the papers as well as the preference of Posts made by them at the time of Document Verification.
Document Verification Important Instructions
At the time of document verification, it is important that candidates keep certain things in mind. Check the information given below for the same:
- Make sure to select the post very carefully as it cannot be changed once selected.
- Candidates are not considered for their respective department unless and until they have selected the option for their preference.
- Bring some 2 passport size photographs with some valid id proof.

- An Identity proof – Aadhar Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN card/Driving License/Scool ID/Any other govt. Id proof
What After the SSC JHT 2020-2021 Final Result is Declared?
The result is declared as per the answers indicated in the final answer key. After the declaration of SSC JHT recruitment 2020-2021 final result, the candidates are appointed for the post of Junior Hindi Translator at the various departments. The appointed candidates are on a probation period of 2 years. At the time of the probation period, the candidates have to undergo functional training or pass such examinations as prescribed by the Controlling Authority. Only after the completion of the probation period, the candidates are considered for appointment and their joining will be confirmed by the Controlling Authority. The candidates who are selected for appointment have to serve anywhere in India.

About SSC JHT
Staff Selection Commission conducts an examination for the recruitment of Junior Translator, Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak for various Departments / Ministries / Organizations in the Govt. of India. There are 2 papers in total in SSC JHT. Paper 1 is a computer-based in which multiple-choice questions are there which are based on the Basic Hindi and English topics.
Paper 2 is a descriptive type paper where there are essay type questions and questions based on translation. As per the performance of both Paper 1 and Paper 2, candidates will be called shortlisted for the Document Verification Round. The final selection and allocation of Departments / Ministries will be totally made on the basis of the performance of the candidates in Paper 1 & 2 and the preference of Posts selected by them at the time verification of documents.

SSC JHT Paper 2 Result 2017
Staff Selection Commission has officially published SSC JHT Paper 2 Result 2017. As per write up, result is provisional. The cut off stands at 135 (UR), 108 (SC), 65 (ST), 119 (OBC), 64 (OH), 64 (HH), 64 (VH).
The Paper 2 was conducted for the Paper 1 qualifiers. In all, 1296 candidates qualified in the exam. Out of these, 317 candidates from UR, 245 from SC, 131 from ST, 516 from OBC, and 58, 12, 17 from OH, HH, and VH category, respectively, qualified for SSC JHT document verification.
SSC JHT Paper 2 Cutoff 2017
The Commission will release cut off along with the result. The cut off of Paper 2 is as follows.
The exam was of total 200 marks and in it, the candidates were to attempt passages for Hindi and English translation. Candidates were also be required to write an essay, in both the languages.

SSC JHT Paper 1 Result 2017
The Paper 1 of SSC JHT Recruitment 2017 was held on June 15, and before the official date of announcement, the result has been published on July 10, 2017, instead of July 14. A total of 29287 candidates appeared for the examination. However, only 10353 appeared for the exam, i.e. only 35.35% of the total candidates gave the exam.
After applying the cut off fixed by the Commission in Paper-I, 2042 candidates have qualified in the said examination for appearing in Paper-II. The category-wise details of the candidates available and cut off marks are as under.
