TPSC TCS Grade 2 2020 Selection Process
TPSC conducts two stages of examination and a final face to face selection stage to qualify applicants for final appointment. Candidates have to clear the following stages for final selection.
Preliminary exam
Although the marks obtained in the preliminary exam are not considered for final selection, candidates must qualify in the preliminary exam to appear in the next stage. The question paper consists of a single paper carrying 200 marks in total. Besides, all the questions are in MCQ format. The Commission allows a total duration of 02 hours and 30 minutes to complete the preliminary exam.
Main exam
The main exam carries 800 marks divided into 06 papers. However, the test can only be taken by those who qualify in the preliminary exam. Compared to the first stage, the main stage examinations consist of every type of question viz. objective type and descriptive type. As such, candidates are allowed 03 hours to complete each paper.
Personality test
This is the final stage of the recruitment process. Evidently, the Commission recommends eligible candidates for final selection after qualifying in this stage. However, the marks obtained in the main stage examination also impact the final decision to appoint a candidate. In other words, a candidate must qualify at all stages but also perform well in the main exam.

Tripura Public Service Commission publishes this answer keys of the objective type question papers in the official website. TPSC TCS Grade 2 2020 answer keys are available in two stages. At first, the Commission releases the provisional answer keys. The Commission then allows candidates a specific period to raise objections against the provisional answer keys. Subsequently, TPSC evaluates and considers all valid objections. Thereafter, the Commission releases the final answer keys. However, the Commission does not allow raising objections against the final answer keys. Therefore, candidates must note that they must raise the objections against answer keys only during the specified schedule.
