How to apply
To apply, candidates must first register at the official website. After the registration, candidates can log in to the website using the generated username and password to fill up the application form. However, it must be noted that the specified application fee must be paid during the application process. Without this, the applications are not accepted by the authorities.

Eligible applicants are selected through a multi stage process including examinations and personality test. Each stage of the selection process for final recruitment is explained below.
Screening of applications is conducted through the preliminary exam. It is only qualifying in nature and the marks are not considered for final selection. However, to appear in the subsequent stage, candidates must qualify in the preliminary exam by securing the minimum qualifying and cut off marks.
The main exam is held for all candidates who qualify in the preliminary exam. Marks obtained in the main exam are considered for final selection. Besides, qualifiers of the main exam are eligible to appear for the final personality test.

The state-level PSC in Tripura is known as the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC). The Commission came into existence in 1972 after the formation of the state of Tripura on January 21, 1972.
