Tripura Teacher Recruitment 2017 – Teachers Recruitment Board, Tripura has issued notification for the recruitment of the Under Graduate Teacher (for I-V) / Graduate Teachers (for class VI-VIII) under Elementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. Teachers Recruitment Board, Tripura has also issued another two notifications for recruitment of Graduate Teacher STGT (for class IX-X) / Post Graduate Teacher STPGT (for XI-XII) under Secondary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura.

Pay Scale

  • Under-Graduate Teacher (for Class l-V) : Rs.6,260/- fixed per month (against Pay scale Rs. 5700-24000/- with grade pay Rs. 2,200/- subject to revision by the government from time to time)
  • Graduate Teacher (for Class VI-VIll): Pay: Rs.7,970/- fixed per month (against Pay scale Rs. 5700-24000/- with grade pay Rs.2,800/- subject to revision by the government from time to time).
  • Graduate Teacher (for IX-X):  Rs. 7970/- fixed per month (against Pay scale Rs. 5700-24000/- with grade pay Rs. 2800/- subject to revision by the government from time to time.)
  • Post Graduate Teacher (for XI-XII): Rs. 10,130/- fixed per month (against Pay scale Rs. 5700-24000/- with grade pay Rs. 4200/- subject to revision by the government from time to time.)

Age Limit : Up to 40 years as on 27.05.2017.

Educational Qualification

For UGT: Senior Secondary with required marks & Diploma in Elementary Education / B.El.Ed OR Graduation Diploma in Elementary Education. Candidate should also have Tripura TET Paper I Certificate.

For GT: Graduate with required marks & Diploma in Elementary Education / B.Ed OR Senior Secondary with required marks & BA.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. OR Graduation with 50% marks & B.Ed Candidate should also have Tripura TET Paper II Certificate.

For TGT: Graduate/Post Graduate with required marks in relavent subjects & B.Ed / BA.Ed / B.Sc.Ed

For PGT: Post Graduate with required marks in relavant subject & B.Ed / BA.Ed / B.Sc.Ed

Selection Process : Selection of UGT/ GT will be done on the basis of the weightage of the marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination. Selection of TGT / PGT will be done on the basis of written examination.

For TGT / PGT Teacher Recruitment

The selection will be done on the basis of Mark obtained in selection Test for Graduate Teachers / selection Test for Post Graduate Teachers -Session-2017 subject to verification of certificates and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online application form.

Certificate Verification: Invitation for certificate verification will be from amongst the candidate who obtains at least cut off mark which is 35% (52 out of 150) for unreserved category candidate and 30%(45 out of 150) for SC/ST/PH category candidates.

Document Required: At the time of certificate verification a candidate must bring original copies of all the following document :

  • All certificates/ mark sheets of academic and professional qualification
  • Admit card of matriculation as proof of age
  • Caste certificate (if any)
  • PH certificate (if any
  • Certificate of ex-serviceman (if any) and “Application Acknowledgment” of online application
  • Admit Card of STGT / STPGT along with two set of self-attested photocopies of all these document

Candidates are required to produce one photo bearing identity card in original like, AADHAAR Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License/Caste Certificate / Physically Handicapped Certificate / PRTC / Bank Pass Book / EPIC (Voter I Card) at the time of certificate verification.
