IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 – IDBI Bank is conducting the computer-based test for the candidates willing to join IDBI Bank as Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ on July 28, 2019. The candidates who qualify the CBT have to first complete a 1-year training course at Manipal School of Banking, Bengaluru and are then appointed as the IDBI Assistant Manager. IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 Admit Card
The candidates have to download the IDBI Assistant Manager hall ticket to appear for the computer-based test from the official website only. The admit card is not sent via post or any other means. To get the admit card the candidates have to login and access the link to download the hall ticket. Candidates have to carry the hall ticket on the day of the exam in the printed format. The admit card have the exam date, time and center address.
Pre-Examination Training (PET) for SC/ST/OBC Applicants
Note that the candidates who belong to the SC/ST/OBC can appear for the Pre-Examination Training (PET). In compliance with Government Guidelines, IDBI Bank would arrange free non- residential pre-recruitment training for interested eligible SC/ST/OBC applicants for 6 consecutive days.

IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 Interview After CBT
After the candidates have qualified the exam, IDBI bank calls the selected candidates for the interview. The candidates can check the website of IDBI bank to get the call letter of the interview. the candidates are issued the call letters can take its print and appear for the interview.
The interview date, time and venue are available on the call letter itself. The number of candidates being called for the interview is dependent on the bank’s choice. In the interview the candidates have to bring the following documents:
- Call letter: The candidates selected for the interview have to download their call letters for the interview and carry it’s printed copy on the day of the interview.

IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 Recruitment Process
Let us understand the process the candidates have to go through before they ultimately become the IDBI Assistant Managers:
Stage 1: The candidates apply online after they check their eligibility and appear for the Computer-based test.
Stage 2: After qualifying the CBT, appear for the interview. The number of candidates called for the interview is up to the IDBI Bank’s decision.
Stage 3: The selected candidates after the CBT complete their 1 Year Training Course known as the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) at the Manipal School of Banking, Bengaluru. The course includes:
- 9 months of a classroom course
- 3 months of internship at any IDBI bank branch
Stage 4: Successful candidates are then inducted into IDBI Bank as Assistant Manager Grade ‘A’ subjected to their fulfillment of the eligibility criteria. The final selection is based on the below criteria:
- Applicant’s marks in the interview, Online test, being found medically fit.
- Fulfillment of all other eligibility criteria with regard to age and qualification.
- Successful completion of the course and award of certificate by Manipal University.

The candidates can check the result of their CBT at the official website of IDBI bank. To check the result the candidates have to login and check their scores in the exam. The result is calculated as per the marking scheme of the exam. The candidates who qualified in the exam can check their call letter for the next process of the selection which is the interview rounds.
IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 Eligibility
The candidates are eligible to apply for IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 CBT if they fulfill the below-given eligibility criteria:
Age limit: The candidates must be Minimum: 21 years and Maximum: 28 years i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.06.1991 and not later than 01.06.1998.
There is a relaxation of age for the reserved category candidates as per the points below:
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe – 5 years
- Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) – 3 Years
- Persons With Disabilities – 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) – 5 years
Educational Qualifications: Candidates are expected to have proficiency in computers, and they should be Graduate from any discipline from a recognized university.
Final year candidates: Those who are in the final year of their Graduation/ Semester may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.06.2019.
