Aspirants could apply for vacancies in one State only and could opt for a Centre of that particular state. Candidates could apply for the post of Assistant in United India Insurance Company Limited (UIIC) by filling the applications online. Candidates had to fill and submit the application online only. No other mode of application submission was accepted. After successfully completing and submitting the online application, applicants had to appear for the UIIC Preliminary examination and after qualifying preliminary examination candidates have to appear for Main Examination.

The UIIC Assistant Recruitment examination is done in two tiers i.e. Tier-I Preliminary Examination and Tier-II Main Examination. UIIC Recruitment Eligibility 2017

Educational Qualification: He/she must have completed Graduation from a recognized University
Essential Qualification: Aspirants must have knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of the Regional language of the State of Recruitment.
Age Limit (as on June 30, 2017): 18 to 28 years. Candidates born not earlier than July 01, 1989, and not later than June 30, 1999, are only eligible to apply.
Relaxation of Age Limit: Candidates who will be seeking age relaxation will be required to submit copies of necessary certificate(s) at the time of Regional Language Test.

Before applying online, candidates had to scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the prescribed specification. To apply for the post of Assistant in UIIC, aspirants need to register first on its official website. For registration, you must provide a valid and active, Email ID and Phone Number. The next step was to upload a scanned copy of photograph and signature.

UIIC Assistant Recruitment 2017 Admit Card/ Call Letter

The call letter/ admit card for UIIC Assistant Recruitment 2017 is published online on the company’s website for downloading for online test. Intimation for downloading the call letter is also sent through email/SMS. The admit card can be downloaded by providing the Registration Number/Roll Number, Password/Date of Birth. On the call letter, candidate needs to affix a recent recognizable photograph (as provided during registration). Along with the call letter, exam takers also need to bring a photo identity proof.

UIIC Assistant Recruitment Exam Pattern 2017

Tier-I: Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination consisted of objective type multiple choice questions. The exam was for 100 marks and the duration of the exam was 1 Hour. The questions were asked bilingual i.e., both English and Hindi language (except for English section).The Preliminary exam consisted of three sections,a s mentioned below:

Tier-II: Main Examination: Candidates who had qualified the Preliminary exam had to appear for Main exam. Furthermore, candidates who clear Main exam will be called for Regional Language Test, before the final selection.

The Main Examination will be total of 250 marks, consisting of objective type questions. The exam will be of 2 Hours duration and will consist of 5 sections as follows:

Negative Marking: There will be a negative marking of ¼ for every wrong answer.

UIIC Assistant Recruitment 2017 Selection Procedure

The selection process consists of Online examination, i.e. Preliminary and Main Examination. Candidates who will qualify in the Main Examination will be further shortlisted for Regional Language test before final selection.

UIIC Assistant Recruitment 2017 Result

The company will publish a final Merit List State-wise and Category-wise in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates in the Main Examination subject to qualifying the Regional

Language Test. Candidates who fall within the specified number of vacancies in the Merit List shall be considered for provisional selection subject to Medical Fitness. Candidates will be intimated of the same through the Company’s Official Website.
