USET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
The Kumaun University defines the eligibility criteria to apply for the UTET exam. The candidates must conform to these minimum eligibility conditions before applying online. Check out the details below.
1. Candidates must have completed the Master’s Degree with at least 55% aggregate marks (50% for the reserved category candidates) in the qualifying examination.
2. Candidates awaiting the final result of Master’s degree are also eligible to apply provided that they produce the qualification within a maximum time specified by the conducting body.
3. Candidates having a Ph.D. and having 55% marks in aggregate can apply given they completed the Master’s degree before September 19, 1992.
USET 2021 Application form
The application process for USET 2021 is conducted online on the official website i.e. kunainital.nic.in. Interested and eligible candidates can online by the payment of the specified application fee. All candidates will need a valid email ID and phone number to register and apply for USET 2021. A passport size scanned photograph and signature should be uploaded by the candidate in the prescribed format.

#3: Click on the link to apply online for USET 2021.
#4: Enter requisite details on the registration page and complete the registration first.
#5: Login to fill up the application form using the registration number/user id and password generated.
#6: Deposit the application fee using one of the specified modes online.
#7: Finally submit the application form and generate print outs of the form and payment receipt.
Application Fee
The candidates applying online must pay the requisite fee in order to complete the application process. The amount to be paid by the candidates depends on the category from which they belong. The table below indicates the amount that the candidates must pay as per category.

Mode of payment
The fee can be paid either using online medium i.e. Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card or using Offline medium i.e. by depositing cash through Challan at any SBI Branch. It is strongly advised to keep a print out of the application form and the candidate’s copy of the Challan/ fee receipt for future reference.
Documents required
Candidates are not required to send/submit any supporting documents at the time of applying online. However, a photograph and a signature must be uploaded to the online application form as image files.
USET 2021 Admit Card
USET Admit Card 2021 is uploaded on the official website as per the schedule of the exam. It is issued by the Kumaun University just before the exam is conducted to all eligible applicants. The USET admit card is in fact the provisional eligibility certificate to appear in the exam. It is however not sent by post and dispatched online only. One must pay heed to the following important points regarding the USET Admit Card.
Do not wait to download the admit card when released.
Check for mistakes/misprints in the admit card and inform the authorities immediately if encountered.
Print the admit card on an A4 size paper and do not forget to carry it to the exam center.
Carry a valid photo identity proof along with the USET admit card.

USET 2021 Syllabus

Candidates can only apply for one subject from the above-mentioned list. While applying one must mention the code of the subject in the application form. The paper for USET 2021 is bilingual (Hindi/English). Candidates can answer the questions either in Hindi or English. However, the paper for subjects like Physical Science, Chemical Science, Mathematical Science, Life Science, Earth & Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science will be in the English language only.

USET 2021 Answer key
The answer key for all the papers of USET 2021 is published on the official website after the exam. At first, the provisional answer keys are released by the University. Candidates are informed that if they have any objection to the answer to any question, they can challenge the answer key by visiting the official website. For every question, candidates must pay a specified amount. However, this is only possible till a specific period of time allowed by the University following which, the objections are evaluated and the final answer keys are released.

USET 2021 Result
The result of USET 2021 is announced on the official website of the University. Candidates are declared qualified if they succeed to qualify in the top 06%. It is mandatory to appear in all three papers and secure a minimum of 40% marks (General category) and a minimum of 35% marks (reserved category) in aggregate marks. After declaration of Result
Candidates who qualify USET 2021 are required to submit original documents to the competent authority so that passing certificates can be issued to them. The required documents are as follows.
- Xerox Copy of the fee paid.
- Final Year Mark Sheet of Postgraduate degree or P.G. Diploma of equivalent Examination
- Marriage certificate (in case of name change)
- Caste Certificate issued by a Competent Authority
- A valid OBC Certificate (NCL)
- Medical Certificate issued by Competent Authority in the prescribed format only in case of PWD category candidates.
