West Bengal Group D Recruitment 2017 Syllabus for Group D Written Examination
General Studies (History, Geography, Physical Sc., Bio-Science, Environmental Science) – 40
Questions would be asked from History, Geography, Physical Sc., Bio-Science, Environmental Science as described above. There would be a total of 40 questions and they would be of 40 marks. Questions would be asked from above described topics only.
B. Language Paper (Bengali/ Nepali/ Hindi/ Urdu) – 10
Language paper mainly consists of bengali, Nepali, Hindi, Urdu and it would be of total 10 marks. There would be a total of 10 questions that would be asked.
C. Mathematics (Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry) – 35
Mathematics paper would comprise of a total of 35 questions and topics covered would be Arithmetic, Algebra and Geometry. It would of 35 marks only.

West Bengal Group D Recruitment 2017 Result 2017
Candidates who have filled their Application form and have appeared in the exam could check their Result from above Result Link after the successful conduction of Examination. Candidates qualified in the written examination are called for Interview test. After the interview final result uploaded on the official website and also on the link provided above.
Selection Process
On the basis of the marks obtained in the Written Examination and the Interview, a merit list of the provisionally selected candidates will be prepared by the West Bengal Group D Recruitment Board.
All provisionally selected candidates will be required to fill up a ‘Verification Roll’ which will be thoroughly enquired into by the authority concerned.
After receipt of Verification Roll having ‘No Objection’, all provisionally selected candidates will be sent for Medical Examination in the State Government-designated hospitals.
The list of provisionally selected candidates will be forwarded to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Govt of W.Bengal for allocating them to various offices of State Government. Appointment letters will be issued by the concerned government departments.
