Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of the following countries or fits under given parameters, which are as follows:
- Citizen of India, or
- Citizen of Sikkim, or
- Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1972, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Ceylon and East African Countries of Tanzania (formerly Tanganaykika and Zanzibar) with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Age Limit: All the candidate must be within the fixed age bracket by the Allahabad High Court for review officer, which is:
Min. Age: One should attain an age of 21 years old.
Max. Age: One must not attain more than the age of 35 years.
Required Qualification: It is mandatory to hold at least a minimum qualification in order to become an eligible candidate for RO post, i.e., “Graduation + Necessary/Required computer qualification or skill”.
Minimum Essential Qualification: A candidate should have the following essentials qualifications for the post of review officer under Allahabad High Court.
- Bachelor’s Degree of a University established by law in India or qualification recognized as equivalent & having a mandatory qualification in the field of computer science.
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or ‘O’ Level certificate awarded by NIELET/DOEACC Society, or CCC Certificate in Computer Science from recognized institute established by law in India.
- Lastly, Computer Knowledge, which includes Data Entry, Word Processing and Computer Operation etc.
Preferential Qualification:
- An applicant who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years.
- A candidate who have the ‘B’ certificate received from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) OR other relevant certificates, shall be given preference.
Allahabad High Court RO Selection Procedure 2020
Selection of the candidates is to be done on the two stages of examination, which consists of one written test & another one is practical test i.e., computer knowledge test. Below some in-depth details are given which explains both the stage of selection of Allahabad High Court review officer 2020, which are as follows:
Stage 1: This stage of the examination contains the objective type questions based test on OMR sheet, which is offline & which consists of a total of 200 questions with a maximum of 200 marks. Here candidates need to note that there is no negative marking in this stage of written examination.
Stage 2: In the second stage of examination, it is based on computer knowledge test, in total of 50 marks & total allotted time is 15 minutes. In this section, candidates need to face a test in English of approx 500 words. Mainly in the computer knowledge test includes data entry, word processing & computer operation etc., It is required to score a minimum of 17 marks in order to being eligible for final selection.
