Supplementary online examination Notice
The supplementary online examination is scheduled only for the Candidates who were eligible but could not appear for the online exam held between March 14, 2020 and March 18, 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Important Notice regarding Online examination
The competent authority has received the representations regarding the online examination held on March 14-18, 2020 that some candidates could not be able to appear for the exam due to spread of COVID-19 pandemic. The authority has decided to conduct the supplementary examination for the candidates whose admit card has been generated in March 2020 but could not appeared for the examination. Candidates will also get the email and sms regarding the same in future once action will be taken or finalized.

BARC Recruitment 2020 Result
After the first stage of screening based on the marks of online screeing tests and GATE scores, the BARC releases an interview shortlists on their official website. After selected candidates have been interviewed, the final shortlist of selected candidates for enrolment into the OCES 2020 publishes. Candidates desirous of enrolling into the DGFS programs, after submitting their details of enrolment into M.Tech/M. Chem Engineering must wait for the publication of the final shortlist of candidates selected for DGFS 2020.
BARC Recruitment 2020 Admit card
After the final date of submission of the online application, the BARC issues the Admit Card on its official website on the stipulated date. Candidates must check the portal and download their Admit card. Admit Card must be produced at the examination centres for appearing in the online tests.
BARC Recruitment 2020 Exam pattern
Language: The examination will be conducted in English only.
Exam mode: Screening examinations will be conducted through online mode only.
Sections: One section consisting of all of the questions.
Number of questions: There will a total number of 100 questions to be answered
Type of questions: Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type questionnaire with only one correct answer

BARC Recruitment 2020 Interview slot booking
Candidates selected from the screening stage will be able to select an interview slot based on the availability through the online portal of application.
BARC Recruitment 2020 Exam centre
The online screening tests will be conducted across 40 major cities spread out across India. BARC will conduct screening tests in 9 engineering disciplines and 4 science disciplines in centres. Selection interviews for selected candidates from the screening process will be conducted at the BARC Recruitment Training School in Mumbai. The selection interview of Geology candidates will be held in Hyderabad.
BARC Recruitment 2020 Stipend, grade and pay scale
OCES and DGFS trainees are entitled to receive a stipend of Rs 55,000 during their training period in addition to a one time booking allowance of Rs 18,000. DGFS candidates are entitled to be reimbursed their tuition fees for M. Tech/M. Chem Engg. Such DGFS candidates are also entitled to receive a one time Contingency allowance of Rs 25,000 as their project expenses.
Appointment of successful candidates will be made at the Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix as Scientific Officers (C) for Rs 56,100. Candidates are also entitled to receive total monthly emoluments at the current rates of Mumbai of an amount of Rs 95,000. This includes the Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and Transport Allowance.
BARC Recruitment 2020 Selection process
Candidates will be selected first through online screening tests (and/or GATE score) and then through selection interviews. Screening for the selection of candidates will be conducted through two different channels such as through online screening test and through GATE scores. Candidates being screened based on their GATE score will be required to upload their GATE 2019/2020 score by April 1st, 2020. Candidates selected through the screening tests will be eligible to book their slots for the subsequent selection interview for recruitment.

Eligibility criteria for admission to DGFS 2020
Candidates with a degree in any of the disciplines of mechanical, chemical, metallurgy, electrical, electronics, computer science, computer engineering, instrumentation, civil or physics and meeting the other eligibility criterias as stated for OCES 2020 are eligible. The candidates are also required to enrol in M. tech/M. Chem Engg in the academic year 2020 to secure their admission into DGFS.

Candidates that are desirous of application to the academic programs of OCES and DGFS 2020 recruitment for Scientific Officers (Group-A post of Government of India) can visit the official website of BARC barconlineexam.in and fill in their application after registering in the portal.
How to apply
Candidates have to register by clicking the “Apply online” tab on the portal and fill in their personal details such as name, contact details and preferred login ID. Candidates will receieve an OTP and/or activation link on the registered email upon successful registration. Online application can be made thereafter by logging in with the credentials and filling up the application form. Candidates must also upload their recent passport size photo and scanned signature in the application form. Subsequently, after completing the online paymemt, candidates can finalise and submit their application.
Application fee
All male candidates who belong to either General or OBC category are required to deposit an application fee of Rs 500. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category, Dependents of Defence Personnel Killed in Action, physically challenged candidates are exempted from paying the application fees. All-female candidates are exempted from payment of the application fees.
