Marking Scheme
Examination for Gujarat High Court Civil Judge Recruitment 2019 is divided into three phases and each phase has different marking scheme and marks. Let’s have a look on each one of them one by one:
Marking scheme for The Preliminary Examination (Elimination Test): Preliminary examination is the first stage, also termed as Elimination Test, it has total 100 questions out of which, 75 questions are in English and 25 questions are in Gujarati. Negative marking is done in preliminary test. Candidates have to score minimum 50% marks to become eligible to appear for written exam. Marks of preliminary exam are not counted in final score.

Marking Scheme for Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type): Question papers of written test are available in English and if instructed candidates are allowed to answer in English as well as in Gujarati. Candidates from general category has to score 50% Marks in the Main Written Examination, whereas candidates from SC and ST category have to score 45% Marks.

How to Calculate Score from Answer Key

Procedure to Check the Marks Obtained
Candidates have to apply under Right to Information Act, 2005, to know the marks they have obtained in the test conducted by high court. Procedure to do the same is given below:
- She/He should apply to the Public Information Officer’, High Court of Gujarat, Administrative Building, Sola, Ahmedabad-380060, by paying the requisite Fee.
- Candidates are allowed only to check their own marks.
- Marks one has scored in preliminary and other tests will only be released after declaration of final result.
- As per the provisions of Section 8 (j) of the Right to Information Act, 2005, score of one candidate can never be given to the third party. No information related to the obtained marks will be shred with even not by the candidate selected in last.
- Candidates who have successfully cleared the exam, can see their result on internet. result of candidates not qualifying will not be published.
- Candidates who have requested to check their marks, will onnly be able to see their marks after the final selection and publication list is made.
