The HTET 2017, also called as Haryana TET, is expected to be held in the month of November 2017. It will be conducted by the Board of School Education, Haryana. HTET – Haryana TET

HTET is to determine teaching eligibility from classes I-VIII and PGT Lecturer. There are different levels (papers) specific for teaching aspirants of classes I-V, VI-VIII, PGT Lecturer respectively. They are as follows:

  • HTET Level 1 – For Class I-V
  • HTET Level 2 – For Class VI-VIII
  • HTET Level 3 – For PGT Lecturer

What is Latest Happening in HTET?

Haryana TET is overdue. There are speculations that the examination will be held in the month of November 2017. However, no official statement has been released so far. There are two notices which are doing rounds on social sharing platforms and as per it, the exam pattern for Level I and III paper has been changed.

Revised Examination Pattern of HTET 2017

The revised schedule has only been announced for the Level 1 and Level 3 of the examination. According to the notice, the scheme for Level 2 will be announced soon. The candidates may check the new and old scheme from below:

Level I Old and New Scheme for HTET Primary Teacher

The only difference between the new and the old scheme is that for both the languages a common section has been created. Also, the section for General Studies has also been incorporated.

Level I – Primary Teacher (New Scheme)

Level III Old and New Scheme for HTET Primary Teacher

The difference is in the same line as that for level 1. The General Studies section has been added and for Languages a common section has been created due to which the weightage of it has decreased to 30 marks only.

How Changed HTET Exam Pattern Will Affect You?

If the pattern of the HTET 2017 is actually changed then the candidates will definitely have to change their preparation strategy. As per the new scheme, if the candidates are not efficient in either of the language then it will not be a huge drawback. Which is a good for the students, however, the candidates now need to prepare for General Studies as well. It is in itself a massive subject and needs a day to day updating of knowledge.

How to Prepare for HTET New Scheme

Now the scheme of HTET is exactly the same as that of the CTET. Hence, the candidates who are preparing for CTET may refer to the model paper and mock test of it to prepare for HTET. Despite such, the candidates should note that under General Studies, the candidates will have to specifically prepare for Haryana G.K. and Awareness as well.

HTET Application Form 2017

If the examination is to be held in the month of November then the application form for it will release it the month of September or October. Half of the September is already gone. Hence, the possibility is that it will be released in the month of October 2017.

HTET Admit Card 2017

The admit of the examination will be issued for all the registered candidates. The candidates will be able to download it by submitting the required login details. Through the admit card, the exam date and time will be announced. The roll number will also be granted via the admit card. The Board will not issue admit card through post. Without it, the candidates will not be allowed to take the examination.

HTET Cutoff

When the Haryana TET was held last time, the cutoff of the examination was as mentioned below:

 All Category Except Sc and PwD  60% (90 Marks)
For SC and PwD of Haryana 55% (83 Marks)
For SC and PwD of Other States 60% (90 Marks)

HTET Result 2017

The facility to check the result of HTET 2017 will be provided online. The candidates will be able to check it by entering the Roll Number, Date of Birth, Level, Security Pin.

The result will contain the score of the candidates in the examination. The OMR sheets of the candidates will be preserved for the month within the date of result announcement.

Issuance of HTET Certificates

The Board of School Education, Haryana, will issue the certificate of eligibility. It will be issued few month after the announcement the of the result to the qualifying candidates of the exam. The conducting body will award separate certificates for candidates qualifying in more than one level.
