The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) will conduct HTET 2017 on December 23 and 24, 2017. On 23rd, the exam will be held only for PGT (Level 3) candidates, in one shift. However, on 24th, two shits will be held and first, the exam for Primary Teach will be conducted, followed by the exam for Trained Graduate Teacher. Nearly 6 lakh candidates are expected to participate in the examination. The application form for HTET is now available. The candidates may avail it from the link on this page. HTET 2017

HTET is to determine teaching eligibility from classes I-VIII and PGT Lecturer. There are different levels (papers) specific for teaching aspirants of classes I-V, VI-VIII, PGT Lecturer respectively. They are as follows:

  • PRT – Primary Teacher – HTET Level 1 – For Class I-V
  • TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher – HTET Level 2 – For Class VI-VIII
  • PGT – Post Graduate Teacher – HTET Level 3 – For Lecturer

Haryana TET 2017 Subjects for TGT and PGT

In PRT, the candidates do not have the choice to opt for any subject. However, the candidates opting for Level 2 and 3 paper will have the option to choose Subject Paper. The subject papers for both the level are as below:

TGT-Level 2 Subject Options: Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Urdu, Physical Education, Home Science, Art, and Music.

PGT-Level 3 Subjects Options: English, Hindi, Geography, Political Science, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, Punjabi, Urdu, History, Sanskrit, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Music, Fine Arts, Computer Science, Physical Education,

HTET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates will only be awarded the certificate of eligibility if they will fulfill the eligibility criteria of the exam. The criteria for eligibility can be checked from the “Eligibility Criteria” link above.

HTET Application form 2017

To apply for Haryana TET 2017 the candidates first of all need to click on the link above. The candidates will then have to register by entering:

  • Applicant Particulars
  • Details of Class X Exam
  •  Applicants Address
  • Level for Apply

Uploading Images: After entering the details, the candidates will be required to upload the Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression. The uploaded photo should be coloured and the date must be mentioned on it. All uploaded images must be clear.

Application Fee: Submitting the application fee is an important step. Until the fee is paid, the form will not be accepted. The amount of fee increases if the candidates opt for more than one level. Hence, it is advised that the candidates check fee carefully before applying. It is as mentioned below:

HTET Admit Card 2017

The admit of the examination will be issued for all the registered candidates. The candidates will be able to download it by submitting the required login details. The roll number will also be granted via the admit card. The Board will not issue admit card by post. Without it, the candidates will not be allowed to take the examination.

  • The admit card will contain Exam Center Address, Roll Number, Details about Candidates, Timing of the Exam, Scanned Photograph, etc.

After downloading the admit card, the candidates should thoroughly check it. If a candidate finds any error then they must inform Special Examination Branch of the Board. The candidates may contact at [email protected] or call at 01664-254646.

Also, if the admit card is not issued for the candidates by December 15, 2017, then they need to contact Special Examination Branch (between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm) by December 20, 2017. The candidates will have to tell their query and produce the copy of Computer Generated Application Form, payment receipt, and an attested copy of qualifying Secondary class (ClassX). Along with these documents, the candidates will also have to produce two photographs. It must be same as uploaded in the application form.

HTET 2017 Cutoff

BSEH has also announced the cutoff for HTET 2017. It is same for the exam of all the three Levels. The candidates must get the minimum marks in the examination, else the Board will not consider them for awarding eligibility.

Haryana TET Syllabus

Child Development and Pedagogy – This section focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning. While preparing for it, the candidates have to keep in mind that the focus will be learning of the targeted age group. It is very important to gain a proper understanding of interactive and diverse learning. The attributes and qualities of a good facilitator are also important to learn.

  • Target audience for Level 1 will be 6 to 11 years old
  • For Level 2 the target audience will be 11 to 16 years old
  • The target audience for PGT Level is 14 to 17 years old

Language Test – The aim of the language test will be to access the proficiencies related to the medium of instructions.

General Studies – The main focus of GS will be elements of Mental and Reasoning Ability and to check the knowledge of candidates about Haryana.

Mathematics / Environmental Studies / Subject Opted For – The basic concepts, problem-solving abilities, and pedagogical understanding of the respective subject will be the focus.

HTET Result 2017

The facility to check the result of HTET 2017 will be provided online. The candidates will be able to check it by entering the Roll Number, Date of Birth, Level, Security Pin. The result will contain the score of the candidates in the examination. The Board will preserve the OMR sheet of the candidates for a period of one month only, from the date of result announcement.

  • The BSEH will upload the statement of marks on the official website. The Board is going to issue it a little later than the result.

Issuance of HTET Certificates

The Board of School Education, Haryana, will issue the certificate of eligibility. It will be It issuance of the certificate will begin few month after the announcement the of the result. Only the qualified candidates will get it. The conducting body will award separate certificates for candidates qualifying in more than one level.

  • The validity of HTET Certificate – The certificate will remain valid for a period of 5 years, from the date of issuance.
