Important Documents Required for IBPS PO

For successful submission of the IBPS PO examination, take care of the following details:

a. Photograph Dimension and Upload Method

  • Recent colored photograph (with a white background)
  • Ensure there is NO red-eye or flash on the image
  • Avoid any kind of reflection
  • Avoid caps, hats, and dark glasses
  • Religious headwear is only allowed if doesn’t cover the face
  • Image dimensions- 200 x 230 pixels
  • Image size- 20kb (minimum) to 50kb (maximum)

Scan the image by placing the same in the scanner. Place the image upside down. Select scan setting at a minimum of 200 dpi and ‘True Colour’. Using a desktop/laptop, crop the image to the edges. Use ‘Jpg’ or ‘Jpeg’ format to save the file. Upload the scanned photograph on the specific link provided on the IBPS PO online application.

b. Signature Dimension and Upload Method

  • On a white paper, use a black ink pen to sign
  • Image size- 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)
  • Image dimension- 10kb (minimum) to 20kb (maximum)
  • Save the file in a ‘Jpg’ or ‘Jpeg’ format

Scan the signature using a scanner with a minimum 200 dpi & ‘True Colour’ setting. Crop the scanned image to the edges.

c. Left-thumb Impression and Hand-written Declaration 

  • On a white paper, use black or blue ink to create a thumb impression
  • Use black ink to write a declaration on a white paper
  • Do not white the declaration in all capital letters
  • Image size- 140 x 60 pixels (preferred)

Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO 2019

Eligibility criteria of the IBPS PO state that one must be a citizen of India to apply. the age of the candidate must be between 20-28 years on 01.09.2019. For the position of IBPS Probationary Officer, a candidate needs to be a graduate in any discipline. Eligibility criteria for IBPS PO 2019 is as follows:

Besides the citizens of India, the IBPS PO application form can be filled by the subjects of Nepal or Bhutan. Tibetan Refugees, who arrived in India before 1st January 1962, can also fill the PO application form.

2. Age for IBPS Probationary Officer (as on 01.09.2019)

Best way to confirm age for IBPS PO exam is through Birth certificate or 10th Standard certificate. The candidate needs to be 20-28 years on September 01, 2019. Candidates from Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe category, Ex-servicemen, Persons affected by 1984 riots, and domicile of Jammu & Kashmir (between January 01, 1980 to December 31, 1989) can claim upto 5 years in age relaxation. Under the ‘The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016’, the person with benchmark disability can avail age relaxation upto 10 years.

Graduates any discipline can apply for IBPS PO 2019. IBPs only accepts graduation degree from a government of India recognized university or any equivalent for IBPS PO recruitment.

Pre-examination Training (PET)

IBPS organizes pre-examination training in association with Nodal Banks / Participating Organisations. The PET training by IBPS is for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribes / Minority Communities / Ex-Servicemen / Person with benchmark disabilities. The candidate needs to specify the requirement while filling up the IBPS PO online application form.
