IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2017

Candidates should meet the following eligibility requirements in order to apply for IBPS PO 2017-2018:-

  • Nationality- candidate must be an Indian National
  • Educational Requirements- candidate must have done Graduation in any discipline.
  • Age Limit – applicant must be between 20 to 30 years as on 1st July 2018. Candidates belonging to reserved category might get relaxation in the upper age limit.

IBPS PO Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern

Selection Procedure

The candidates are tested on three standard and crucial phases

  • PHASE I-Preliminary Exam (100 marks)
  • PHASE II- Main Exam (200 marks)
  • PHASE III- Interview ( 100 marks)

Exam Pattern of Preliminary Exam

The exam shall be conducted in online mode, where candidates may be required to solve 100 MCQs related to three major sections including- English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The question paper might be of 100 marks for which you shall get only 1 hour. A penalty of 0.25 (25% marks) for each wrong attempted response is asserted.

Exam Pattern of Main Exam

The exam shall be conducted in online mode, where candidates may be required to solve 200 MCQs related to three major sections including- Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (Banking) and Computer Knowledge. The question paper might be of 200 marks for which you shall get only 2 hours. A penalty of 0.25 (25% marks) for each wrong attempted response is asserted.

Expected Pattern of Interview

After qualifying Main exam, candidates may further be required to appear for 100 marks interview session. All the candidate must produce the following original documents at the time of interview:-

IBPS PO Admit Card 2017-2018

IBPS shall upload IBPS PO admit card in three phases i.e first for Prelims, secondly for Mains and then finally for the candidate who have been selected in the Interview process as well. The entry pass of all successfully registered candidates shall be issued using the link embedded on the official website. Admit Card shall not be sent individually via post or any other medium.

IBPS PO Result 2017-2018

There will be sectional cutoff in IBPS PO exam meaning that the candidates have to obtain minimum qualifying marks in each section. Furthermore, the authority will declare result in three phases:- first for Preliminary exam then for Main and at the last for Interview. It is expected that the final result shall be announced in January. Rank is decided based on the following
