The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is responsible for conducting the IBPS PO Examination on an annual basis to recruit young, dynamic and intelligent candidates for the post of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees. A total of 20 government banks will be participating in the recruitment process. The interested candidates can register themselves on the official portal ibps.in before the deadline otherwise, their applications won’t be accepted. Once an aspirant satisfies the IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria against his/ her credentials, then he/ she can proceed to fill up of Application form without any worry.

It is necessary to satisfy the eligibility conditions before you apply for the Online Application Process of IBPS PO 2017. As in the case, any discrepancy is found later in the application form against the original documents, then it could lead to rejection. Nationality

An aspirant will be eligible to apply if he/ she belongs to the following countries.

  • India
  • (subject of) Nepal
  • (subject of) Bhutan
  • A Refugee from Tibet can also participate in the application process if he is residing in India since 1st January 1962.
  • An individual who has citizenship of India and has moved to India from the countries mentioned below can apply.

  3. Sri Lanka
  4. East African countries of Kenya
  5. Uganda
  6. The United Republic of Tanzania
  7. Zambia
  8. Malawi
  9. Zaire
  10. Ethiopia
  11. Vietnam

Educational Qualification

The candidates interested to apply for IBPS PO must have done graduation in any field from a recognized University. In order to support the qualification, they will need to show up along with the valid Mark Sheets/ Degree Certificates.

Age Limit

An aspirant must be at least 20 years of age and less than 30 years of age to be eligible to write the IBPS PO Examination.

Upper Age Limit

The Upper Age Limit Relaxation is mentioned below in the table.
