JSSC CGL 2022 Notification – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria prescribed by the Commission in the official notification to appear for the exam. Inability in fulfilling the given criteria leads to rejection of the application by the conducting body. The eligibility criteria of the JSSC CGL 2022 are provided in the article below.
- Age limit- The category-wise age limit of the JSSC CGL 2022 exam is listed below.
- Unreserved- 21-35 years
- EBC & BC (Male)- 21-37 years
- EBC, BC & UR (Female)- 21-38 years
- SC/ST- 21-40 years
- Educational Qualification- Candidate must possess a graduate degree.
- Domicile- Only those candidates who are residents of the State of Jharkhand are eligible to apply for the exam.
JSSC CGL 2022 Notification – Application Form
The JSSC CGL 2022 application form can be filled only through online mode. To apply for the exam, candidates must visit the official website, jssc.nic.in. Candidates must first register themselves on the official portal of the exam by clicking the ‘New Registration’ option. After registering themselves on the portal, candidates can use their login credentials to log in and fill in their application form. They must upload their necessary documents, scanned copies of their photographs, and signatures while filling the application form.
Candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000 after filling their application form during the stipulated time. Candidates who belong to the SC/ST category need to pay an application fee of Rs. 250. After filling out the application form, candidates can take a printout of the application form.

JSSC CGL 2022 Notification – Admit Card
After the application procedure of the JSSC CGL exam is finished, the official body releases the admit cards of the candidates a few days before the examination. The admit card of JSSC CGL exam can be downloaded by clicking the ‘Admit Card’ option on the homepage of the official website. The admit card contains details regarding the reporting time, the exam center, and the personal details of the candidate along with exam instructions. Candidates must carry their admit cards to the examination hall or else they would not be allowed to appear for the exam.

JSSC CGL 2022 Selection Procedure
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission conducts the JSSC CGL exam in a single phase to shortlist the best candidates for various posts in the government departments of Jharkhand. The single phase of the exam is called the ‘Mains’ exam. The Mains exam consists of three papers that are objective in nature. The Mains exam tests the candidate’s knowledge regarding English, Hindi, Regional Languages, and General Knowledge especially about the State of Jharkhand. Each paper of the Mains examination lasts for a duration of 2 hours. Candidates are then ranked according to the marks they have scored in the examination. Depending upon their performance during the examination, the availability of the seats, as well as their preference, candidates are assigned their respective posts in different ministries and departments of the Government of Jharkhand after the Document Verification process.
