For any JSSC recruitment exam, all applicants are issued an admit card or hall ticket to appear in the exam. The admit card is an important piece of document that is released through the official website only and must be download by the candidates before the exam. It contains the candidate information and details of the date, time and venue of the exam. Check out some very important points about the admit card to remember.
- The admit card must be downloaded by the candidates themselves using the login credential generated during the online registration process.
- Candidates must download the admit card from the website only as the Commission does not send the admit card by post to the individual candidate.
- Candidates must print the downloaded admit card on A4 size paper and carry the same to the exam center on the day of the exam.
- Do not forget to carry a photo identity card along with the admit card to the exam center on the day of the exam.
Result of JSSC Recruitment
Candidates can check the results of all JSSC recruitment examinations from the official website only. The results are released in the form of a final merit list of selected candidates who qualify in the corresponding exam by securing the minimum qualifying marks. Once qualified and shortlisted, candidates are issued a date and time for document verification following which they are offered appointment into the relevant posts.
Selection Process of JSSC Recruitment

Constitution of the JSSC
The JSSC is headed by a Chairman and two Members. The Chairman is appointed from an in-service or retired officer not under the designation held in Super Time Scale of All India Services/Army. The two members are appointed from in-service or retired officers in the pay range of Rs 37400-6700, Grade pay of Rs 8700.
About the JSSC
The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission was established under the provisions of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Act 2008 (Jharkhand Act 16, 2008). It was as per Gazetted notice number 829 dated December 6, 2008, of the Jharkhand Government. The organization was initially headquartered in the location of Dhurwa in Ranchi. However, the new headquarters in Namkum, Ranchi was inaugurated in 2016.
