The Admit Card for NCS, NPS, NSS & Allied Service Examination 2017 has been issued by Nagaland Public Service Commission. The candidates who have completed their application form in all respects before 08 September 2017 till 03:00 pm can get their admit card from 18th September 2018. Admission Certificate has been uploaded on the official website at npsc.co.in To obtain the admit card, candidates will need to provide their Transaction ID. Submitting these details will display the hall ticket. The e-admit card will carry essential information to attend the NPSC Exam. You should note the dates for appearing in the exam, venue where to appear, and instructions to follow in the exam.
The e-admit card is uploaded on the official website of NPSC in 3 stages. First of all e-admit card has been issued for Preliminary Examination, then for Main Examination and finally a call letter for the Interview/ Viva-Voice process.

NPSC 2017 Admit Card for Preliminary Examination
NPSC has been issued the e-admit card for the Preliminary Examination first. It has been uploaded on the official website at npsc.co.in The admit card must be carried on the day of the examination. The hall ticket will inform the candidates regarding the dates on which they have to appear for the exam, place where they have to appear, e-signature and digitized photograph of the applicant and some instructions such as the rules and regulations to be followed in the exam centre.
Candidates have to reach the exam center in time. Usually, all the admit cards indicate the reporting time by which the candidates must be available at the centre. However, if it has not been mentioned that when the candidates should report, then they should try and reach the centre at least 30 minutes before the exam commences.

NPSC 2017 Admit Card for Main Examination
Candidates may have to achieve minimum standard of marks. The minimum marks to be obtained will be mentioned later on. Those who get the minimum marks shall be required to fill the form of Main Examination. After filling the form, the e-admit cards will be issued in order to make the candidates allowing candidates enter the premises of the exam. The applicants will be able to download their hall ticket by entering their Transaction ID on the official website.
NPSC 2017 Admit Card for Interview/ Viva-Voice
This is the final stage of selection process. Candidates only clearing the first 2 stages will be invited to attend the interview session. The session is meant to test the candidate’s personality, overall intelligence and also the aptitude and attitude relevant to the services opted for. Call letters will be uploaded in pdf form on the website. You will not be sent any individual intimation.

The exam will be conducted in Offline Mode. There will be 3 stages in the selection process.
(i) Preliminary Examination

(iii) Interview/ Viva-voice
(i) Exam Pattern for Preliminary Exam
At the Preliminary stage, the exam takers will face 1 question paper carrying 200 multiple choice questions of 200 marks. It is mandatory to complete the test in 3 hours. The question paper will be from the following topics:- About Nagaland, Geography, General Science, History, Indian Polity and Economy, Indian National Movement, General Mental Ability Test and current events etc.
(ii) Exam Pattern form Main Examination
Candidates appearing for Main Examination will face 3 papers of total 200 marks in each section. The sections are as follows:-
General Essay, Comprehension and Grammar– there will be 50 questions of 2 marks on topics such as Crisis management, social problems, analysis and solutions, current events of national and international importance etc. and 80 questions of 1 mark from Comprehension and 20 questions of 1 mark from Grammar.
Paper-I General Studies (MCQ)
You can expect MCQs of 200 marks on Modern history of India, Indian Culture, Statistical Analysis, Nagaland in all aspects, Graphs and diagrams, Basic and everyday science.
Paper-II General Studies (Descriptive)
This section will have descriptive type questions ranging from 2 to 20 marks on Indian Polity and Public Administration, Social Problems and sensitive issues including environmental problems, Indian economy and Geography, Administration in Nagaland etc.
