WBPSC Clerk Recruitment 2020 Exam Pattern
WBSPC Clerkship examination consists of Part 1 test, Part 2 test and typing test. The candidates must have a typing speed of at least 20 wpm in English or 10 wpm in Bengali. For the pattern of part 1 and part 2 tests, check the points below.
Part 1 Exam Pattern
- Duration of test: Part 1 exam lasts for a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes (90 minutes).
- Type: All the questions are of objective type with multiple choices, out of which only 1 is correct.
- No. of shifts; The exam is conducted in 2 shifts: Morning and Afternoon.
- No. of questions: There are 100 questions in the test.
- Marks for correct answer: Each correct answer adds 1 mark to the candidate’s total marks.
- Sectional Marks: There are 3 sections : English (30 marks), General Studies (40 marks) and Arithmetic (30 marks).
- Total marks: The paper carries 100 marks in total.
Part 2 exam pattern: Part 2 exam is conducted for qualified candidates of Part 1 test.
- Type: Part 2 exam is a written test.
- Duration: It lasts for a total of 1 hour.
- No. of groups: There are 2 groups: Group A and Group B.
- Group-wise marks: Both the groups carry 50 marks each.
- Total marks: The paper carries a total of 100 marks.
