Methodology for Calculating Score from APSET Answer Key

The answer key will contain the correct answer for each question in the examination. The candidates can match the answers marked by them, with the answers mentioned on it. Then as per the marking scheme, the candidates can calculate the score.

Calculating score for Paper I – Teaching and Research Aptitude (General Paper)

  • There will be 50 questions.

  • Each question will be of 2 marks

  • no negative marking is applicable

Hence, to calculate the score the candidates must need to match the answers given in the APSET answer key 2018. Allocate 2 marks only for the correctly marked answers. Sum all the scores and that will be the estimated score.

Calculating Score for Paper II – Subject Specific

  • In all, there will be 100 questions of 2 marks each.

  • Negative marking will not be applicable here as well.

For score calculation, candidates just need to check the correct answers and add 2 marks for each one of it.

Score calculation can be done by matching the answers given in the AP SET 2018 answer key. Then, adding 2 marks for each correct response and eventually summing it all up.

Total marks scored can be calculated as follows.

  • Marks scored in Paper I = Number of correct answers X 2.
  • Marks scored in Paper II = Number of correct answers X 2.
