Eligibility Criteria for HSSC Constable 2021
Applicants must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria before proceeding to apply for HSSC Constable 2021. Check out the details below based on the previous notification.
For Male/Female Constable (General Duty):
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized educational Board/Institution for all the categories.
- Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher.
- Age: 18-25 years (On the first day of the month in which the applications are invited for recruitment of Constable).
For Sub-Inspector (Male):
- Graduation from a recognized university or its equivalent.
- Matric with Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects or higher.
- Age: 21-27 years (On the first day of the month in which the applications are invited for recruitment of Constable).
Note: Physical Measurement Test shall be of qualifying nature only. However, it is mandatory.
HSSC Constable Application Form 2021
Candidates should apply online well in advance without waiting for the last submission of the HSSC Constable application form. The candidate should fill in all details while filling the Online Application Form. After applying online, Registration No. and Password will be generated. Take a printout of the registration no and password screen for future reference of your application status and for Reprinting of your online filled application form and e-Challan form. HSSC Constable Syllabus 2021
Harayana Staff Selection Commission announces the complete syllabus of the HSSC Constable 2021 exam online with the release of the official notification. The syllabus is comprising of the following indicative topics.
- General Studies
- General Science
- Current affairs
- General Reasoning
- Mental Aptitude
- Numerical Ability
- Agriculture
- Animal husbandry other relevant fields/trades, etc.
- There will be at least 10 questions relating to basic knowledge of computers.
HSSC Constable Admit Card 2021
The Admit Card for the Knowledge Test releases online after the conclusion of the online application process. Candidates may note that the admit card is not be sent by post. Candidates have to download the official website of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission and take a printout of it to carry during the Knowledge Test. Without a valid admit card, no candidate is allowed to appear in the test. Therefore, it is necessary for all candidates to carry the admit card with valid ID Proof in the examination hall.
HSSC Constable Selection Criteria 2021
The selection of the candidates is done on the basis of:
- Knowledge Test (80% Weightage)
- Physical Screening Test (PST)
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Additional Qualification (10% Weightage)
Knowledge Test: All candidates shall have to undergo a Knowledge Test of eighty (80) marks comprising of objective type, multiple-choice questions.
Physical Screening Test (PST): The candidates who have qualified in Knowledge Test will be put to a Physical Screening Test which would be qualifying in nature, to judge their physical fitness and endurance. The standard prescribed for this test will be as below:

Physical Measurement Test (PMT): The candidates who have qualified for the Physical Screening Test will have to undergo the Physical Measurement Test as per the standards prescribed by HSSC. Only the candidates who qualify the standards prescribed for the Physical Measurement Test will take part in the further process of selection.
Additional Qualification: All candidates who have qualified for the Physical Measurement Test will be called for scrutiny of documents.
HSSC Constable Result 2021
The result of the selected candidates is uploaded on the website of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission when the recruitment process will get over. The selected candidates will be recruited for the intended post of Constable and Sub-Inspector. The result of the candidates will be updated on the HSSC Website in online mode. The candidates who failed at any stage of the recruitment process will not be considered in the result of HSSC Result 2021.
