OSSTET Result 2018
The Board will declare the OSSTET Result 2018. Those who have appeared in the exam will be able to check their result from the osstet.in or bseodisha.ac.in. In order to get the result candidates to need enter the credentials on the login page. The result will be based on the performance of the candidates in the OSSTET 2018 Examination. The candidates who will cleare the exam will be entitled with the Eligibility Certificate.
Admit Card for OSSTET 2018
After completion of the application process, the admit card for the exam has been released. The candidates who filled the application form in time can download the admit card from the official website at bseodisha.nic.in. The admit card has been released online no other mode will be introduced for downloading it. For downloading the admit card candidates have to provide the login credentials on the website.
OSSTET 2018 Application Form
The eligible and interested candidates are able to apply form the dates specified above. BSEO has released the application form online. The candidates have to pay the requisite amount for completing the application form. For different category, the application fee is distinct.
- For General / OBC / SEBC is Rs. 500/-
- For SC/ST the application fee is Rs. 300/-
The mode of submitting application fee is online as the application form. The candidates can use their Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net banking details to complete the form.
Eligibility Criteria For OSSTET 2018
Before filling the application form candidate should go through the eligibility criteria first. If the candidate will not full fill all the eligibility criteria then that candidate will not be allowed to appear in the exam. From below candidate can see the Eligibility Criteria For OSSTET 2018.
Nationality: Candidate must hold Indian Citizenship.
Read and Write: Candidate must be able to read and write in Odia language.
Qualification:
- Candidate should have qualified Higher Secondary Examination from a recognized board of Odisha or any other state with Odia as a language subject i.e. First/ Second or Third Language.
- Candidate must have passed the Odia Examination of 10/12th standard, Single Subject Examination conduct by the B.S.E., Odisha.
- Candidates who have passed Odia Examination in 07th Standard conducted by B.S.E., Odisha are also eligible.
Requisite Academic and Professional Qualification:
The examination will be conducted in two different parts for the prospective teachers in two different categories.
- Category I:- Education Teachers (Trained Graduate Teachers in Science/ Arts, Hindi/ Classical Teacher (Sanskrit/ Urdu/ Telugu).
- Category II:- Physical Education Teacher.
Number of Attempts: There is no restriction on the number of attempts. A candidate can acquire the test until he/she gets the certificate.
Note Candidate appearing or the candidate who have appeared in the examination, and their result is awaited will also be considered as eligible. If marks obtained by the candidates will be the same as specified in eligibility criteria then the candidates are eligible to apply.
Exam Pattern of OSSET 2018
In Odisha TET candidates who apply for Paper I have to apper in a paper I and who applies for Paper II, have to appear in paper II.

Mode of OSSTET: Offline (Objective type question)
Number of marks in Paper I: 550
Number of marks in Paper II: 60
Compulsory Subject in Paper I: English and Odia
Duration of Each Exam: 02 hours 30 min
Except for Language specific exam, the question paper will be in English only.
The Section IV of each paper i. e. Child Development, Pedagogy, school Management & Evaluation is compulsory for both examinations.
No negative marking in OSSTET.

Answer Key of OSSTET
BSEO has released the answer key. With help of answer key, candidates will be able to cross check the answer and can calculate the estimated marks. After calculation candidates can easily predict the chances of selection. The Board hasn released the answer key online on its official website at bseodisha.nic.in.
Selection Procedure of OSSTET 2018
The selection procedure for the exam is quite easy. As the candidates have to undergo only one written examination irrespective of the category he /she applied.
The candidates have to obtain the minimum qualifying marks for cracking the exam. For each category, Board has decided different marks.
- An unreserved category candidate has to obtain minimum 60% marks in each paper.
- Whereas SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates will be provided relaxation up to10%. They have to obtain 50% marks.
The validity of OSSTET 2018 Certificate
The Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test Certificate is valid up to the candidates reaches the upper age limit prescribed for recruitment of teachers by Govt. of India.
The candidates should note that After getting the certificate candidates can apply for the all recruitment of Teacher in Odisha State only. This certificate gives the eligibility in the Odisha State.
