How to Check Bihar STET Result 20201?

Bihar STET 2021 result releases online only. It is released in the form of a merit list of the candidates who qualify through the exam by securing the minimum cut-offs or more. Candidates can check their qualifying status in the merit lists online by visiting the official website. 5th Step: The PDF file with the merit list of all the selected candidates opens up. Now, press “Ctrl+F” and write down the roll number.

Bihar STET Result Compilatio

Getting shortlisted in the merit lists of the Bihar STET exam is governed by multiple factors such as marks scored by a candidate, number of vacancies cut-off marks and highest marks scored by a candidate. Below is the result compilation method used by the authorities to prepare the merit list:

• The total marks of each candidate is calculated.
• Every right answer is given 1 mark each
• There is no negative marking in Bihar STET
• The list is made for candidates who have cleared the cut-off in decreasing order of marks scored.
• The candidates are selected on the basis of vacancies in decreasing order of marks.

Bihar STET Tie Breaking Rule

There are instances when two or more candidates may secure the same score in the Bihar STET exam. In such cases, the board adopts a tie-breaking method to resolve the tie in marls. The tie-breaking criteria for preparation of the merit list have been specified below as per the previous year exam advertisement.

1. Firstly, the date of birth of the candidates with same score is considered for tie-breaking. The candidate who is older in age is given preference.
2. If the age of the candidates is same, then the marks scored in graduation/post-graduation is considered.
3. The last criteria, if the marks scored in graduation/post-graduation are same, then the names of the candidates are considered in alphabetical order.

Bihar STET Certificate

Candidates who qualify through the Bihar STET exam and are selected for recruitment on the vacancies are issued a certificate of eligibility for teaching the students of secondary or senior secondary. The certificate is issued by the Board of School Education Bihar (BSEB). The candidate who wishes to be considered for the merit list of the exam of STET must score more than the cut-off marks.

Earlier, the Bihar STET certificate had a validity of 7 years from the date of announcement of the result. However, as per latest government directives, the STET certificate now remains valid for a lifetime.

About Bihar STET

The Bihar State Secondary Teaching Eligibility Test (STET) is conducted by Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) as per the vacancies notified by the Government of Bihar. The STET is conducted for 3 posts which are Secondary School Teacher, Senior Secondary School Teacher and Physical And Health Instructor. There are 7 subjects for which teachers are needed in Paper-1 and Paper-2. The paper will be of 120 minutes each. There is 1 mark for every question and there is no negative marking.
