How to Check the GSET 2020 Result?
Candidates those appeared for the GSET 2020 entrance examination only they can check their result. GSET Passing Criteria 2020
Candidates eligible for the State Eligibility Test, the candidate must obtain a cut-off mark and be at the top 15 percent in the subject and category of wise merit list. The result of Gujarat SET 2020 declares a few weeks after the exam. Candidates can simply log in to check results and the details present in the Hall ticket. The details of GSET cut off marks and preparation of merit list are given below.
Step I: The number of candidates to be qualified must be equal to 6% of the candidates who appeared in both the papers.
Step II: Total slots shall be distributed to different categories in accordance with the policy of reservation of the Gujarat Government.
Step III: In order to qualify, the candidate should appear in both papers and obtain at least 40% aggregate marks in both papers for General (Unreserved) candidates and at least 35% aggregate marks in both papers for reserved categories candidates visz., ST, SC, PWD(PH / VH), SEBC and Transgender.

The GSET result will be declare on the basis of the final answer key. Candidates can check the process that will be followed after the release of the GSET result. The process is given below:
- After the GSET result declaration, candidates who qualify for GSET 2020 will be required to submit a printout of the online application form, the original Hall Ticket, and other certificates at the time of document verification at Gujarat State Eligibility Test Office, Vadodara.
- The GSET Agency shall not issue a mark sheet to qualified / non-qualified candidates. However, qualified candidates may only obtain the certificate upon verification of the eligibility documents immediately following the declaration of the result of the GSET examination.

Gujarat State Eligibility Test (GSET) entrance examination for the University and College teachers of Gujarat (hereinafter referred to as SET or GSET) is conducted by Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. The University of Baroda, Maharaja Sayajirao, has been appointed and authorized as the State Government Agency. A candidate who qualifies the SET examination will be eligible for being appointed as Assistant Professor in University/ affiliated college, provided he/she fulfills other academic qualifications prescribed for the post of Assistant Professor by the U.G.C. and is selected by the respective Selection Committee.
