RRB NTPC CBT 2 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates can check the pointers listed below to know the eligibility conditions for the RRB NTPC CBT 2.
- Only those students can appear for the CBT stage 2 who have passed the stage 1 exam successfully.
- Candidates obtaining the cut off marks are only eligible for the CBT 2 round.

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Exam Pattern 2019
It is advisable to first check the pattern of the exam before starting the preparation. with the help of exam pattern, candidates will have a clear idea of the scheme of the exam.
Duration of exam – The CBT stage 2 is going to be of 90 minutes. Candidates belonging to PwD category will get 120 minutes.
Nature of Test – The question will be (objective type) multiple choice based in which four alternatives are given in each question.
Number of questions – CBT will have a total of 120 questions.

How to Prepare for RRB NTPC CBT 2 2019
Candidates can check the preparation strategies which will be helpful for the students in preparing for the exam.
Know the Exam Pattern: It is important for the students to be aware of the pattern of the examination. By knowing the exam pattern, he or she will get a fair idea of the subjects from which questions will be asked, type of question, number of question, marking scheme, etc.
Make a Schedule: Students should make a routine as one will get to know the time devoted to each of the subjects. Applicants will also know the weak areas and topics on which one need to focus more.

RRB NTPC Admit Card for Stage 2 2019
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) releases the RRB NTPC CBT 2 Admit Card for only those candidates who qualify the CBT 1. The admit card is released in online mode at the zonal websites of the RRB. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number and date of birth as the admit card is available over login. No, admit cards are sent to the postal address of the candidate.
On the day of the exam, it is compulsory for the candidates to carry the admit card along with a govt. approved identity proof and passport size colored photograph. As no candidate can appear for the exam without a valid admit card. Candidates must keep the admit card carefully till the time recruitment process gets over.
RRB NTPC CBT 2 Cut-off 2019
To qualify the second stage of the recruitment process, candidates have to secure the cut off marks. Students can check the table below in which the qualifying marks are given category wise.

RRB NTPC Selection Process 2019
The selection of the candidates is based on the following rounds for the posts under RRB NTPC. Candidates clearing all the rounds are going to be recruited for the post. In case, a candidate fails to attend any round due to any reason then, he or she will be ineligible to be appointed for the post.
Selection Process – Explained!
First Stage CBT: The first stage is going to be a computer-based test. All the candidates irrespective of the post applied will undergo this round. On the basis of performance in this round, students obtaining the cutoff marks in this round will be shortlisted for the second round.
Second Stage CBT: The shortlisting of the candidates for CBT stage 2 is done as per the normalized marks in the CBT stage 1. The number of candidates who are going to be called for this round is 20 times the number of vacancies. The normalized marks obtained in the CBT 2 is going to be used to shortlist the candidates who do not have to appear for Typing Skill Test / Computer-based Aptitude Test. For the posts which involve the Skill Test or Aptitude Test, the selection will be done based upon the marks in the CBT stage 2.
Typing Skill Test / Computer-Based Aptitude Test Third Stage: This stage will be for only those candidates who have applied for the post of Traffic Assistant, Station Master, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Time Keeper. In the aptitude test, candidates need to obtain at least 42 marks in each test battery to be eligible for the DV round. Reserved category candidates will not be eligible for any relaxation in this stage.
In the typing skill test, candidates need to have the appropriate typing speed to pass the skill test. The skill test is qualifying in nature and no marks will be awarded to the candidates for this round.
Document Verification Fourth Stage: The final selection will be made after the document verification to confirm the eligibility claims of the candidate. In case, a candidate is found ineligible then it will lead to the cancelation of the candidature. In this round, candidates need to carry the relevant documents on the allotted date and venue. Those candidates who fail to submit the relevant documents will not be considered for the final appointment.
RRB NTPC CBT 2 Answer Key 2019
The answer key is also released by the board after the completion of the exam in online mode at the official websites of the RRB 21 in the count. The answer key of the RRB NTPC 2019 is released over login for which candidates have to enter registration number and date of birth. With the help of answer key, candidates can get the estimate of the marks. Also, candidates get to know their chance of getting selected for further stages involved in the recruitment process.
Candidates will also get the opportunity to raise an objection against the answer key if you are dissatisfied with the answers. As per the objections raised, the final answer key for RRB NTPC CBT 2 will be released in which no changes will be made.
RRB NTPC CBT 2 Result 2019
The result for the RRB NTPC CBT stage 2 will be released in online mode at the zonal websites of the RRB. Candidates who have appeared for the CBT stage 2 can check the result which is announced in the form of merit list and scorecard. Those candidates who will qualify the CBT stage 2 will only be eligible for the typing skill test or aptitude test or document verification as per the post applied.
RRB NTPC Merit List 2019: The merit list is released in a pdf format which consists of the names of the candidates who have qualified the CBT stage 2.
RRB NTPC Score 2019: The score is released over login for which candidates need to enter user id and password. All the candidates who have appeared for the CBT stage 2 exam will get the scorecard. The score comprises of raw marks, normalized marks and qualifying status of the candidate.
