TNSET 2020 Application form

Candidates must pay the TN SET application fee to submit the application form successfully. Examination fee is accepted only if paid through online process.

Tamil Nadu SET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Read the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the conducting body before beginning with the application procedure.
- Candidates must have a Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% (50% for OBC/SC/ST/Person with a disability) or it’s equivalent. The preferred subjects for Master’s Degree are – Sciences, Electronic Sciences, Humanities (including languages), Social Sciences, Library & Information Science, Computer Science & Applications.
- Those candidates are also eligible who have appeared or are appearing for their Master’s degree (final year) or result is awaited.
TNSET 2020 Hall Ticket
Mother Teresa Women’s University releases the admit card for TNSET 2020 once the application process is over. Candidates can download the Hall Ticket for Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test from the website. No TNSET Hall Ticket is sent to the applicant by post or any other mode. The candidates should download their hall tickets to know their venue of the exam, schedule for the exam, important instructions. No Candidate is allowed to appear at the examination centre other than that allotted to him/her in the Tamil Nadu SET hall ticket. With the admit card, candidates are advised to carry a photo identity card to the Tamil Nadu SET.
TNSET 2020 Exam Pattern
The Test consists of three papers. All the three papers consist of only objective type questions/ MCQs and is conducted in three separate sessions as follows

Paper-I is of general nature, which is prepared to assess the teaching/research aptitude of an applicant. It is designed to test comprehension, divergent thinking, reasoning ability and general awareness.
Paper-II consists of 50 MCQs which are the compulsory question. These questions are determined by the subject selected by the candidate.
Paper-III consists of 75 MCQs which are the compulsory questions.

TNSET 2020 Answer Key
Once the examination for Tamil Nadu SET is commenced, Mother Teresa Women’s University releases the answer key. This TN SET answer key can only be download from the official website of University. Know about the TNSET answer key 2020 below.
- After the examination of TNSET 2020, the official answer key for all the papers displays on the website of TNSET.
- Candidates can send their objections against the answer key along with documentary evidences to the email provided. This process is regulated for 15days after the publication of official answer key answer keys.
- After expiry of the stipulated time 15 days, no grievance regarding answer key will be entertained.
TNSET 2020 Result
After the final answer key, MTWU declares the result for TNSET 2020. The result of the TNSET 2020 examination releases on the website only for those candidates who appeared in all papers. Only qualified candidates receive intimation of the declaration of result through SMS.
Criteria for Declaration of TNSET 2020 Result
