TSPSC Group IV Computer Proficiency Test Date
Telangana State Public Service Commission has released the Computer Proficiency Test date pf TSPSC Group IV. The Computer Proficiency Test is scheduled to be held on August 27, 2020. TSPSC Recruitment 2020 Half Yearly Examination Postponed
Telangana State Public Service Commission has posponed the half yearly examinations to be conducted from March 27 to 30, 2020. The revised schedule will be announced later on the offcial website. Check the official notice from below.
Formation of Telangana State & Constitution of TSPSC
The State of Telangana came into existence under the provisions of the AP re-organization Act of 2014. The provisions for the constitution of the Public Service Commission in the state of Telangana are further established under the provisions of Section 83(2) of the Act.
His Excellency the Governor of Telangana, in the exercise of the powers conferred pursuant to Article 315(1) of the Constitution of India, set up the Public Service Commission for the State of Telangana with immediate effect for the selection of posts in various categories for direct recruitment in the State of Telangana and the performance of functions pursuant to Article 320.
Key Roles & Functions of TSPSC
The roles, responsibilities and functions of the TSPSC are delivered w.r.t to the provisions of the Article 320 of the Indian Constitution and in accordance to the provisions of the TSPSC regulations vide GOM No. 44 GA Department. The fundamental roles and responsibilities of the Commission can therefore be summed up as follows.
Direct recruitment – The Commission engages in direct recruitment roles for different departments of the state public services as well as for different posts in relation to the Telangana State governance as per directives of the state government.
Formation and approval of norms – The Commission also engages in the role of formation of statutory rules and regulation related to the state and subordinate services.
Deputation matters – The commission acts as an advisory to the government as well as actively involves in roles related to matters of recruitment through transfer or promotion.
Disciplinary cases – The Commission presides over disciplinary matters and acts as an adviser to the government.

TSPSC Notification
The Commission publishes a notification or advertisement whenever they have to hold a recruitment exam. It contains details of how to apply, important dates, eligibility, vacancies. It is typically the first step in announcing and initiating any recruitment event.
TSPSC One Time Registration
OTR system is wherein candidates can submit their data once and the TSPSC website automatically retrieves this data to fill up the online application form. Here one has to enter personal information, address, education, that are required for virtually all recruitment applications so that one does not have to fill up such details repeatedly in different application forms. However, candidates must fill up separate application forms for different recruitment events as directed by the Commission from time to time.
TSPSC Admit Card
The admit card or hall ticket is an identity or eligibility document that is issued to all successful applicants. Therefore, all applicants have to produce this admit card at the exam center. It is issued through the official website only and contains information about the candidate’s identity, exam center and instructions about the exam.
TSPSC Answer Key
With the intention of having a fair and transparent recruitment process, the Telangana State Public Service Commission releases answer keys after the commencement of exams. Candidates can get them here on relevant recruitment page or at official website. You can also use TSPSC keys to calculate marks.
TSPSC Results
For each exam, TSPSC publishes results. Candidates whose names are in result of TSPSC are provisionally selected for either next round or final selection. Selected candidates must present relevant documents alongside certificates during document verification.

About TSPSC
One of the youngest Public Service Commission to be formed in India is the Telangana State Public Service Commission. It was formed only in the year 2014. Since the time of Mir Mahaboob Ali Pasha, VI Nizam of Hyderabad (1869-1991), the system of selecting civilians to serve in public service roles was in trend. The system was carried forward with the formation of the Hyderabad Public Service Commission through a Firman declared on April 27, 1947, headed by a chairman and four members. The formation of the TSPSC in such a background of events upon the re-organization of the states is said to have carried forward the 150 years legacy.
