Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the National Eligibility Test to determine eligibility for Lectureship and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). CBSE has notified the dates for NET 2018. This year examination is going to be held on July 08, 2018. Interested candidates may register themselves for the examination form March 06, 2018. The candidates who will appear in National Eligibility Test must know the syllabus to prepare for the examination. The syllabus and examination pattern will help the students to know more about the syllabus and topics covered in it. All the students who will appear for the examination must check the complete syllabus before start preparing for NET 2018.
CBSE NET 2018 syllabus will be released by University Grants Commission. The syllabus will be available on the official website of UGC at ugc.ac.in National Eligibility Test is conducted by CBSE in 84 subjects. There is different syllabus for each subject. Scheme of NET 2018
The National Eligibility Test (November) 2018 will consist of two papers which include paper I and paper II. All the papers will contain multiple choice questions (MCQ’s). The examination is going to be held on July 08, 2018 (Sunday) The pattern for the test such as number of questions, duration, marks are mentioned below in the table. Before checking the syllabus for the subjects, candidates must know the exam pattern.

Paper-I shall consist of 50 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions which will be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability. comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate.
Paper-ll shall consist of 100 objective type compulsory questions each carrying 2 marks which will be based on the subject selected by the candidate.

The National Eligibility Test will be conducted in 84 subjects. Candidates can choose the subject of their choice while filling the application form of NET 2018. The syllabus links for all the subjects are given below. The candidate just need to click on the link of his or her subject and download the syllabus for that particular subject.
