NHTET — the National Hospitality Teachers Eligibility Test — is conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) to declare candidates eligible for Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Associate posts in NCHMCT-affiliated Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs). Eligibility tests of this kind qualify a candidate to be considered for teaching posts — they establish that you meet the standard required to apply, and are separate from the recruitment process that actually fills vacancies.
