Reasoning

In the banking exams, the level of reasoning questions is high. Trickiest questions are asked from the reasoning section to test the candidate’s reasoning skills. Try the preparation with easy topics like inequality, syllogism, etc. Then gradually move towards puzzles and seating arrangement topics. Practise section-wise papers to get command over different sections. Make an order to attempt questions in the exam to save time and attempt as many questions.

General English

This is a language test. Candidates are not supposed to write paragraphs or articles but answer grammar, vocab, comprehension questions. To build the ability to comprehend English, read editorials, novels, build vocabulary and clear out grammatical concepts.

Quantitative Aptitude

The first step for the preparation of the quant section is to clear out the basics of the topics suggested in the syllabus. Candidates who are interested in applying for CRP Clerks should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS.

Nationality: Candidates can check the citizenship requirements below:

  • A person must be Indian CitizenPperson must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan and Tibetan Refugees who arrived in India before 1st January 1962
  • A person of Indian origin who is from countries like East African countries of Kenya, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

Age: Candidate can see the age limit from the below:

  • Minimum age: 20 years

IBPS Clerk 2021 Selection Process

IBPS Clerk recruitment is a multi-stage selection process including two stages of exam. Candidates can read the details below.

  1. Preliminary Exam: The first level is the preliminary exam. The candidate has to appear in the online exam. The question papers consist of multiple-choice questions with a 60-minute duration. Those who have cleared the prelims can give the mains exam.
  2. Mains Exam: The candidates who clear the preliminary exam are called for the mains exam. The duration of the mains exam is 160 minutes with multiple-choice questions. The mode of exam is online. The marks scored in the mains exam is considered for preparing the final merit list.
  3. Personal Interview: The candidates who have qualified the mains exam are eligible to appear in the personal interview. The personal interview is conducted commonly for all banks. The marks scored in the personal interview are considered for final selection.
