SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2020-21
The Combined Graduate Level examination is conducted for the recruitment of candidates who have completed at least a Bachelor’s degree qualification in a relevant field. In addition, candidates must also comply with other conditions such as nationality and age restrictions in order to apply.
SSC CGL 2020-21 Nationality Qualification
The candidate must a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan
Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
Indian Origin Person who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

SSC CGL 2020-21 Educational Qualification
Below is the education qualification related to SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria 2020-21. The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree qualification from a recognised institute only.
(i) Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer:
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree
- Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.
(ii) Junior Statistical Officer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
(iii) All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent.
SSC CGL 2020-2021 Exam Scheme
The Examination is conducted in four tiers as indicated below:
Tier – I – Computer Based Examination of 1 hour (Objective type)
Tier – II – Computer Based Examination divided into 4 papers (objective Type)
Tier – III – Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
Tier- IV – Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification
About SSC CGL 2020-21
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the exam for recruitment on various posts as notified by the central government. The candidates must have graduation degree for applying for this exam. The selection process of SSC CGL consists of 4 stages which are Tier-1, Tier-2, written exam and skill test. Tier-1 and Tier-2 exam are full objective type tests. Tier-3 written exam is a 1-hour pen-paper test with no negative marking. The candidates who clear the SSC CGL written exam, appear for the skill or proficiency test.
