The new update regarding the vacancies will soon be notified. However, we would also like to inform you that according to last year, there were only total 7 seats available for the post. For General-06, SC-1 and ST- Nil.
The candidates applying to this examination must ensure that they are eligible for appearing. The admission to all the stages will be entirely provisional which is subject to verification of the eligibility conditions. As of now, the eligibility criteria has not been announced yet.
The candidates are required to visit the official website at upsc.gov.in and fill the form in Online Mode. the applications are to start form 29 December 2017 and will be accepted only till 04th week of January 2018. It can be filled only from the official website at upsc.gov.in. after the date, the link will expire. Candidates must take a hard copy of the entire form after furnishing the honest details. The online filled in application form should also be sent to the officials in due time for verification and onward transmission to the commission
UPSC CISF AC LDCE 2018 E-Admission Card
After the dates for the written examination is officially announced in the brochure as well, UPSC will further inform the candidates about the issuance of UPSC CISF AC LDCE 2018 E-Admission Card. Candidates will need to download the UPSC CISF AC LDCE E-Admission Card uploaded on the commission’s website and appear for the written examination at the designated schedule and venue in Uniform. Along with hall ticket, the candidates should carry their official identity cards. Do not forget to go through the instructions on the UPSC CISF AC LDCE 2018 E-Admission Card.
The written test consist of 150 multiple choice questions based on General Ability, Intelligence and Professional Skills. You will have 4 options out of which only 1 will be correct. All the questions carry equal marks. There may be NO negative Marking. The candidate gets 2 hours 30 minutes. For each correct answer 2 marks are awarded, therefore maximum marks that can be fetched from the written test is 300 marks. The question paper will be printed in English and Hindi both. There will be two parts in the paper
- Part-1- General ABility- 75 questions
- Part-2- Professional Skills- 75 questions
The written examination to be conducted on 04 March 2018 will have 150 multiple choice questions to be attempted in pen & paper based. The paper has 4 sets-A,B,C and D. maximum marks awarded to a candidate are 300. Each questions weighs 2 marks for a right response.
Conduct of PST/PET and MET
On the basis of the written test of CISF AC-LDCE-2018 held by UPSC on 04 March 2018, the UPSC will make available a list of candidates who are selected and are declared qualified in the written test. These candidates would be required to attend aPST/ PET and Medical Examination Test. Roll Numbers of candidates and the dates for PST/PET will be enclosed in the letter issued by UPSC. last year, there were 28 candidates who were selected ( 23-General, 5-SC). These candidates were further called for the test at 5th Res. Bn., Indirapuram, Ghaziabad on 01st week of May 2018.
You may report to the centre in PT dress carrying their e-admission card and official identity card and 06 copies of recent passport size photographs similar to which was pasted on the application form. The commission advises that the candidates may have to stay at the centre for a considerable duration of time, probably 3-4 days.
PI may be held in 01st week of July 2018. The UPSC will inform the personality test/ interview for the candidates of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for the post of Assistant Commandants (Executive) through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination- 2018. The candidates are e-summoned through a notice published on the commission’s website at cisf.gov.in Candidates have to download their e-summon letter for appearing in the Personality Test. read all the instructions carefully and try to reach the venue 1 hour before the commencement of test.
Candidates have to come in Normal Uniform. The commission usually advises the candidates to bring 2 passport size photographs. The candidate may have to stay here for a couple of days- approx. 1-2 days. Last year, 25 candidates were selected for Interview.
Minimum qualifying marks
The minimum standards secured by the candidates community wise at different stages of the examination are considered for selecting candidates. The marks secured by the last recommended candidate by UPSC obtained the following marks

Answer key Publishing
The answer keys containing solutions of 150 objective type questions in the written test conducted in set wise will be published after the test. The answer key will indicate the responses that are correct and the students should mark. This will be the final key and there may be no challenging the answer key facility related to the event.
After all the candidates timely appear for Personal Interview, the result may be expected to be announced in 02nd week of July 2018. On the basis of the written test i.e LDCE 2018 and PET/PST/MET and Personal Interview of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for the post of Assistant Commandments, the final results will be available for download on the official website i.e cisf.gov.in the result would be downloadable for a period of 60 days. The final result will be uploaded in from of pdf containing names of the selected candidates in order of their merit. The recommended candidates will fill the reported vacancies as Assistant Commandments.
As per previous year, 7 candidates were selected for the post. The top scorer was Vikas Singh with 396 marks (Paper-1=220, Paper-2=40 marks, Personality Test= 136 marks).

After the final results are declared, the appointed candidates can expect their marksheet to be uploaded on the official website after 15 days from the day of result publication. And the marksheet would be accessible for a period of 45 days only. So the candidates are informed to take the print of the page as soon as possible.
