Indian Bank SO Recruitment 2018

As said above the recruitment is conducting for only 145 vacancies. The eligible candidates will be selected as Specialist Officer in Information Technology Department / Digital Banking Department, Information Systems Security Cell, Treasury Department, Risk Management Department, Security Department, Credit, Development Department, Premises and Expenditure Department. The application will be made online on the given schedule.

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: The most common and important requirement is the candidate should be an Indian, or a subject of Nepal, or Bhutan or a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before January 01, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India,
or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Application Form

The applications will be invited from the talented and eligible candidates on the official website of the bank. The application form will be released on the specified dates. Admit Card

Indian Bank SO Admit Card is also known as Call Letter. The call letter for the examination will be issued online through the bank website or by the registered email id’s. The candidates who will successfully submit the application form with the requisite amount of fee can able to download the admit card. The only mode of getting the admit card is online. Admit card or intimation letter will not be sent to the candidates by courier or by post. To get the admit card the candidate need to enter the basic details of his/her, like Registration / Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.

Minimum Qualifying marks

  • In the Preliminary Screening Test, the minimum qualifying marks are 50 % for General category.
  • 45 % for SC/ST/OBC and PWD category.

Pre-Examination Training

The Pre-Examination Training will be provided by the bank to the candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ PWD. But the training will be provided on the specified cities in all over India.

The cities where the training will be provided are Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Vijayawada, Lucknow, Jaipur and Bhopal.

Selection Process
